Do you want an option to turn off all visual damage in SINGLEPLAYER?

If there is only visual damage, why there is no option to turn it off completely? I personally want this option because the AI is annoying. If you still want it forced in multiplayer, that is fine for me. But I want the forced damage gone in Singleplayer. Please everybody who has the same opinion vote Yes.

Yes because more options/customisation is better in general.

Regarding damage I don’t like the way it generically “pops” onto the car regardless of type of impact. In the grand scheme of things its a very minor issue.

I really wonder why ppl vote no. It’s SINGLEPLAYER and has ZERO INFLUENCE on the gameplay of others.

It is like they are telling me what I have to do in my garden or something. Something nobody in the world should tell me what to do.

Yes.
I would like an optional setting to keep cars always looking immaculate on track in all modes.

Upvoted it.

Wow I already created a topic about it, and it got closed. But last time it was named not this way, so specific.

Do I want it? Not particularly. Should it be an option? Why not. It’s an option in Horizon after all.

Fun fact: if you go into photo mode and reset visual damage, it sticks when you go back in the game. Useful if you got a cracked windshield.

On PC, you can disable the vehicle damage system by modifying the XML file.

Yes, please. I’m tired of my livery being gone after 1st corner of every race. It’s just not fair lmao

Oops, I’m blind, didn’t see the SINGLEPLAYER part at first. But the answer is still the same.

I’d like it Horizon 5 style where visual damage is turned off for the player but kept on for the AI.

I have no interest in it but I’ll support it because others have the right to play in whatever way makes them happy. For myself, though, if I wanted to play a less realistic Forza Motorsport, I’d play Gran Turismo.

The damage would be fine if it wasn’t so over the top. I get tapped and my entire rear quarter panel is destroyed. Makes sense.

Sure, why not.

I would be most happy if the damage and other options were broken out into individual choices, rather than just the three “grouped” settings I have now.

Right now, dropping the setting down to get rid of damage (which the AI causes very frequently) also forces off other settings I’d prefer enabled.

Unless I’m missing something.

I’d use it, because the Ai ALWAYS smashes into us ruining the paintwork. For now the xml trick is an option I suppose.
