It’s high enough up not to be a nuisance though hopefully. But yes, it’s definitely a quadrocopter! 
So a drone might be a nuisance. But a jeep under a helicopter ain’t? 
Jokes aside. Really looking forward to using the drone feature. Gives so much possibility for great content. Both in video and photo. I know im sure as bip is going to play around with it a lot trying to create good images etc 
I meant online where morons will buzz your windshield with it and ruin your race.
Sounds quite funny actually. Cars could get their own back by using a ramp to take them out in the air. Would also be great if a bunch of drones could team up and pick a car up into the air!
I would think the drones only be able to go a short distance from your car like the standard camera mode.

That in fact is not a drone, but the helicopter carrying the jeep to the showcase. Look very very closely. It too far away to see a drone that size carrying a very in detailed shape of a jeep.
Don’t know what the actual drone will look like… or if we got a physical body for that matter. Lol!! But still sounds pretty neat.

I reckon that’s just there to remind you drone’s are in the game, and when you go into drone mode you jump to it’s point of view. But we’ll know for sure when either they tell us, or sept 23rd comes around.
Now, if it’s a drone do we get hellfire missiles? lol
Let’s just hope that whoever’s in charge of this feature remembers to add an invert-Y toggle to the menus for it. I can just about cope with not having the option for photomode, where I don’t exactly need fast reflexes (although it was much better on 360, where it picked up the profile-wide invert setting), but flying a drone will be impossible.

At 23:41 they show how dronemode works.
However later on in the video when you see the big skyscrapers I just started to think how cool it would be if your drone could go all the way to the very top of the skyscraper, I mean imagine the view!
Does anyone know if there will be an easy way to record videos while in drone mode? Will forza add a button that makes you able to record? Or will you have to try and mess around with dvr?

Got me thinking also. I’m not entirely sure if you can vid record via game dvr or if it will be uploaded to the Forza community posts.
Can we have drone races online?
Be creative. Considering you can use your drones online. Make up your own route. And then race with them. Shouldn’t be a problem really

I wonder if it will be possible to lock the drone to your car e.g. wheelcam or facing car from front? It would be a great feature then. Imagine the great videos you could record!
The drone mode has no boundaries
It is amazing flying across the map spying on others in freeroam.
I love the drone so far. Took a pretty cool shot of these 2 guys standing on their porch talking and my car with the wreckage all around while the drone is soaked. I can already see folks doing more stuff in what little I’ve played
I was honestly playing around with drone mode for so long LOL. It’s such a fun and awesome feature. I cant wait to see what what amazing edits people will come up with!
