Peripheral support on PC (wheels, multi-USB)

This is the best news I have read in this entire forum. I have Fanatec Clubsport V2 wheel which is on the supported wheels list now. I don’t like any Fanatec pedals though, I have had too many problems with them in the past. A few years ago I got a set of ECCI pedals which are amazing. Only problem is they only connect directly to the PC by USB. In any other racing game, I just map them in the game options. Hopefully Forza 7 will now work the same way.

Currently the only racing I do is iRacing on PC. It is great, but only online multiplayer. I would like to have a fun single player racing game to play sometimes. I played Forza 1 through 4 on console all with a wheel. By the time Forza 5 came out, I had switched over to PC for racing and didn’t have a Xbone compatible wheel. I refuse to play a serious racing game with controller. The only racing I don’t mind doing with controller is on GTA.

Now that Forza seems to be embracing the PC, I should be able to have fun with it again.

My setup: PC – i7 6800k CPU, 16 GB ram, nVidia 1070 8GB GPU; rSeat EVO V3 racing cockpit, Fanatec CSW V2 wheel, ECCI pedals, Thrustmaster TH8-RS shifter, triple 27" monitors.

As I said in my earlier post, even if FM7 does not support multi-usb setups, you can use Forza EmuWheel (it works already in FH3 and Apex), and it will work in FM7 too.

FYI Thrustmaster 458 spider works fine in menu and in demo, but not in the game.

is this expanded wheel support for pc only or will i be able to use my g27 on my xbox one?

just trying to figure out whether i’m buying the pc version or xbox version…

G27 won’t work on Xbox One. Logitech and Microsoft would love it if you bought a new G920 for $400 though!

G920 is better than G27 in both wheel and pedals, i got my G920 for 200$

going pc then. haha, thanks for the quick answer dude!

If you have a higher end PC it’s a no brainer really. Why would anyone want to play the game with way less antialiasing and running at 30fps for replays and cutscenes. After playing APEX I can barely look at the jagged mess and crappy replays that Forza 6 has on my Xbox. PC all the way for me. Not to mention the huge amount of wheels/pedals/shifter combos you’ll probably be able to use.

Fanatec CSL Ps4 basel support?

Hello, i played forza since the 3 with a controler, what do you think about being competitive with a wheel, is it possible? Is it possible to be as good as with the controller or is it mission impossible?
I’m pretty sure the immersion will be most intense but what about the general feeling? Is it fun to play forza with a wheel?
Tx

Wheel feel in previous game has been pretty poo, we don’t know what the new game has in store yet.

Going from a controller to a wheel can be like learning how to play the game all over again

I have seen the wheel support stated. I want to see the shifter and pedal support!

Can the 30 announced gamepads and wheels be used on xbox one too? or is it only for the PC version?

Hi already tested with my old logitech momo and… it’s terrible , unplayable …

Hey devs , can you add a setting to set the max steering angle (degrees) ? thanks…

I am pleasantly surprised and happy to report that my ECCI pedals are supported just fine. They are connected directly to the PC by a separate USB cable.

My Fanatec Clubsport V2 wheel is also supported, but that was in the list so didn’t surprise me.

I must say I am pleasantly surprised also … all 5 of my USB devices have been detected and are all configurable in the game.

Going by the thread about “FFB is it fixed” and the interaction with T10Driver Aaron who is working directly on the FFB for FM7, I went ahead and pre-ordered the UE with full confidence that what we will get (eventually) will be sufficient for my time to enjoy the game with my cockpit setup

I have a Rumble Pad 2 controller which works fine with Apex. In Forza 7 demo I can bind keys with it, but that’s it. Does not work in menus or when racing. Is this going to be fixed in the full game? I don’t want to buy it and refund. I’m surprised the devs added support for the ancient Logitech MOMO Racing Wheel, yet no support for Logitech gamepads lineup.

My logitech g920 is not being recognised by the game. the steering is fudged up.

Hey this might sound odd, but does anyone know if there is support for the Microsoft speed wheel. It is the wireless U shaped wheel. I found one laying around and was wondering if it would work.
