PC user Cloud Save and PC save Reset after dealing with AT&T and Xbox live Support suggestions

Hi my amazing new friends at Turn 10 and Forza Forums! Long time racer and fan, been playing since Forza Motorsport 3!

I am EXPERIENCING A DREADFUL DAY, Ill make it as quick and to the point as possible.

I play Forza Horizon 4 on PC.
Today I turned on my PC to play some FH4, also started xbox app, forza hub, and was greeted with all 3 applications replying “you have no internet connection, please retry”. But No error codes.

I have been connected to the internet though. I began my troubleshooting using the Xbox live support forums and lurking here a bit. found the typical uninstall/reinstall instructions, so i gave that a shot.

Then i left a a question on the Xbox live forum, asking for more help to connect to the internet with the apps, and they said contact AT&T other people have the same issue with that ISP (which i have). at this point i turned on my xbox and signed into xbox live fine, which then SOMEHOW let me then log into the apps on my PC.

at this point with my original issue resolved, i restarted my PC and started forza and it connected to the internet as normal, and then I came to my new issue… It requested that I sync data from my PC or the cloud. i chose PC. it took AGES to restore, which made no sense to be frank.

then I double checked my graphic settings, and started the game.

I just achieved prestige 2, LAST NIGHT, now I am level 1, restarting the game… ???

I want to freak out, but I’m sure there is someway that you wonderful people at turn10/Forza can help me.

Is there some reason why this happened? Is there a way to restore my saves from the cloud?
