PC FH4 freezing and crashing at certain parts of the map

Hello, my game has been crashing several times today and yesterday. At first, it crashed in the beginning menu where it said to continue into the game. I had this same exact issue a couple weeks ago. I had to reinstall the game both times and it resolved that issue. Now, today, it freezes and eventually crashes when entering certain parts of the map, for example when I’m entering Edinburgh coming from the fairlawn Manor. I noticed that when I started to avoid areas where the game keeps crashing. I really don’t want to reinstall the game again, it’s 60+ GB and that takes a while to install. I have my video settings at medium preset. I don’t have MSI Afterburner or precisionX, in fact I’ve tried to close every possible application I have open in task manager, even those running in the background. I have it installed on an HDD if that helps. I have an i5 4590 and GTX 970

I have the exact same problem. It was fine a week or two ago, I’ve never had issues with launching the game but suddenly when I get to certain parts of the map the game just crashes. It isn’t my system, I can play other games just fine, it’s only FH4. Some help in just figuring out where to start looking for the problem would be great!

I tried literally every solution I could find, nothing seems to be working unfortunately. Playground Games doesn’t even know about this yet. Hoping these forum posts will bring attention to the issue
