Pause not working

When I pause the game although the normal menu comes up fine, the actual cars in game do not stop. This happens both in race and using the photo function. It’s annoying for taking pictures, but incredibly frustrating when playing single player races. Especially as it seems to be affecting rewind as well.
I’ve been having to restart races if I have to pause the game for any reason.

I play on a series X, in Australia, with decent internet. Everything is up to date in regards to controller and console updates.

Are you using quick resume?

There was a thread on this not too long ago, have a quick search, not sure if they’re was a fix
