Opel chose to name its 1986 replacement car in this segment Omega rather than Rekord. Vauxhall stayed with the Carlton name. I doubt they will put this in when the visually similar Lotus Carlton is already present. Doubling up is reserved for Mustangs, 911s and 370Zs!
