Online Seasonal Championship Mode
Introduction:
A class-based seasonal progression system where players compete in ranked events to climb through the different championships for each of the classes, from E to S. The mode emphasizes balanced competition and consistent performance. This mode introduces structured team-based and individual racing competitions with cumulative leaderboards.
Details:
- Class Progression:
Players start in Class E. giving access only to the E class championship. Top-performing players advance to higher classes giving access to the next championships with higher difficulty of car and track combinations, through the season (D, C, B, A, S).
- Point-based systems requiring consistent placements (e.g., top 3 or top 5) to advance.
- Promotion and relegation: Each class will have a minimum number of points to be able to participate in that class championship. Meaning that you will be promoted or relegated if you reach the thresholds of each class.
- Cars within the same class will have similar performance to ensure fair competition.
- Solo or Team Participation: Players can choose to compete as solo drivers or to be part of a team so the points you get help your team to rank up the leaderboards of the season
- Matchmaking for Classes: Balance player skills when the race starts and not when they signed up. This to prevent empty servers and bad matchmaking (this is how is working now).
- Penalty Management: Each class has a minimum requirement of safety rating to be able to sign up, and this minimum safety rating goes up with each of the classes.
- Team Creation: Players can form teams with custom names, logos, car liveries, and more.
- Race Format: Championships consist of 5-10 races trough different weeks with real-time standings. The car can be the same and each week will be a different track. These races can be schedule only over the weekend or a specific date through the week. this to group the players so the participation is higher and to motivate the player to prepare and to practice the combination of the week. It will be good to have trough the previous days of the schedule races to have open lobbies to only to practice so players can train with other people
- Rewards: Cosmetic items like helmets, suits, and liveries.
Special cars and in-game currency and Permanent Recognition (Special team emblems for winning teams) for each of the classes. - Leaderboards: Driver Standings based on individual results. Constructor Standings for the sum of team members’ points. Standings are updated in real-time after each race.
