Yeah, can see it’s been altered. You managed to get into the vinyl shapes that I used?
No not at all, by enlarging it I was able to see the various shapes you used to create the different effects - really clever uses BTW. I only started livery design when FH5 released, and I didn’t have a clue where to start and what shapes would be best - or really the best way to manipulate them, so looking at other peoples designs/illustrations really helped me understand how to build things up. I share all my stuff, so people can see what I’ve done to create the things I have - it helps a lot to see how different people build. I really appreciate experienced/talented designers (like yourself) sharing images so novices like me can learn from them
That ink design is by far the best design in the whole game. Still can’t get my head round how you did it. Spot on job sir
I think you’re too humble here. @Archduke67 and I are designing a project together so I got to know him and his history better.
He might be new in Forza, but isn’t in Design. He’s an experienced Graphic Designer as am I. I’m not going to tell your whole history because I respect your privacy, but I’m going to say he’s really knowledgeable. More than me probably.
And my personal opinion: Copying illustrations or logos from people who themselves have also copied it themselves isn’t a problem. The actual, original artist has the copyright, not the one who imported it in Forza. (But the original artist if possible and Forza painter should be mentioned in the description of the livery when that illustration is a big part of the Design, not when it’s simple logos).
It’s very wholesome and nice sharing your work in Forza to help others copy it. And everyone is allowed to copy my Designs, as long as people don’t say that they have designed it.
Edit (again): After re-reading this text I see I have worded it wrong and don’t give enough emphasis on how big of a deal it is what artists do when they trace a photo to the livery editor. That’s narrowfocussed of me just because I have a different goal when Designing. This message comes across much harsher and black and white than I think is reality. I’m going too far off-topic here and will explain it in a PM.
Thx so much pal
