Okay so I went To the point where you get to choose the escort, Subaru and lancia. Except the Subaru wasn’t there and was replaced with a null car, (looks like a ford Mondeo), it has all the dialogue for the Subaru but instead I was give this blacked out family saloon, haha. I can’t work out for the life of me how to upload a picture to show you guys
That literally just happened to me, but ive seen it in the auction house on FH3 before, when it was really a Lamborghini Countach. Im thinking the Null Car is what is used when the game doesn’t load the car in correctly or cant load, and this happens.
It just happened to me. Ive seen it happen before on FH3 tho, so im thinking that the Null Car is used when the car cant load correctly, and this is shown instead.
So i feel pretty special actually because Im sure nobody has this uh, car i suppose lol. But my game was installing and it was passed the point it said I could play so I started playing. Well it came to the second car selection (first dirt race) and the ford escort cosworth was there and the lancia but, being that I played the demo I knew it shouldve been the suburu but it showed up as a completely black car that looked like a ford of some sorts with solid rims. I clicked A on it and the guy said “ahh suburu, etc…” it does not make any engine or exhaust noise at all and is rear wheel drive. Completely blacked out 2000 playground null car.

So I just had this weird encounter with a weird glittttttch???
At the intro to the game you’re introduced to your first dirt race where you can pick from a selection of three cars right. Well instead of an Impreza, there was “The Null Car”? Has anyone else seen this thing or is it just me? It’s a glitched out Ford XR8/Fusion that is completely black, but has no embellishments or anything else. Has some real weird engine noises too! Has anyone else seen it or is it just me???
Same thing happened to me when I could choose the Lancia, RS, and Impreza. The Impreza was a null car and even took a photo of it
(Edit) THIS CAR IS FAST! I got 245 mph on this thing so far.
(Edit 2) You are able to drive this in-game. The turning is abismal but you’re are able to crank this crap to record speeds and has great acceleration when upgraded

It’s called the 2000 Playgrounds Null Car, the only things I know, are the fact that my friend chose a Subaru for the dirt, and he hasn’t fully installed the game yet
Anyone know how to get the PG Ford Fusion? As far as I know it’s basically the MissingNo. of horizon 4 and there is no way to sell it. I know of someone who has one so that’s why I’m asking

You can’t. The Null car is generally a placeholder model.
I’ve been thinking of a possible way to get the null car but somebody is going to have to test it. While the game is installing wait until the very moment it says “ready to play” then turn off you wifi or slow it severely in some way. Hopefully when you get the option to select the Subaru in the rally event it won’t be downloaded completely and it will be replaced by the Playground Games Null Car.

Why wouldn’t you man??? As far as I can tell only a extreme few have this car. Making it probably the rarest car in the game! I personally think it’s the dopest car ever!

I wouldnt say the car is pointless and unusable it’s actually a pretty sick car I’ve only been able to use it through super 7 like I friggin want one bad but I also dont want to risk losing my account for it either.
You shouldn’t want the car, it’s just a computer generated shell.

Not just that, but the risk of corrupting files isn’t worth the reward.

Worst case scenario is I have to reinstall the game. Really no biggie if I’m only letting it instal part way
i tried it somedays before. starting the game just after “ready to play”. drive through the prolog, 1st race needs to download something more.
and after stuntman i got to the selection. but the subaru was a subaru. game was by 53% progress of installation.
