No sound at all xbox one

Hi,

Is anyone else having this problem.

I have absolutely no in game sound at all on the original Xbox.

I have checked other games and they are all okay.

It started during a split screen race, during the race the sound was not right and then after a few races the sound went out completely. As it was late we turned the game off. But when I came back to the game the next day there was no sound at all.

I have reset the console uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still no sound.

Is this a known issue that is easy to fix or am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link but the issue isn’t just with the split screen races, I have no sound at all in the whole game…

I just lost all sound too ! Piece of junk game , I’m canselling my Xbox x pre order and want my $100 back!

My problems fixed.

I don’t know how, but I have sound back in the game… It wasn’t working an hour ago when I booted the game up.

But just played some Dirt Showdown and then back into Forza and voila sounds are back.

Hopefully they are here to stay.

I fixed my issue. I had to change the language in the game to English (us) from (uk). Then went to setting on my xbox>display and sound>video output>select HDMI>GO through the set up so your tv is correctly displayed and at least 50hz > turn of the Xbox one x completely>take disc out and clean >then boot it up and all sound back again.

I haven’t played multiplayer, so no split screen, but I have lost my engine, tires, and other in-game sounds. I noticed that some people got sound back by changing the language in the Forza settings. So I went to the settings and discovered that if you choose to save changes even though you don’t make any, it acts as if you made changes and restarts the XBox. Once I got back in the game my sounds were back.
