Actually I have a little problem…
A good friend of mine and me are always trying to beat each other in time attack (D - X)…
but at the moment this is quite not the same, because I cannot set him as active rival, there is no ghost driving and while selecting track also no possible rival is shown, as well as the little highscore before starting the race is empty. (If I go on big highscore, all times are shown…)
But I don’t get it, first I thought the rivals are general down, but other eventy are working as well as before (VIP, drift,…)
So JUST the time attack of D until X are little buggy.
Anyone has a possible reason for it…or did I miss something and ghost/rivalry is gone there?
This has been an ongoing problem since early August. Time attack rivals was working again for a few days just before the game was available on gold. But sadly it appears to broken again.
Although it appears the other rival modes are working, they also are not working properly. You get no credits for beating your rival and no leaderboard afterwards.
I assumed the rivals down due to a well known glitch whereby you could earn hundreds of thousands credits in C Class time attack at a certain track…
I’m hoping and praying they will be up and running again soon, but I’m not holding my breath

Rivals still works as far as being able to earn credits for laps and XP toward Driver Level, also Affinity and the leaderboards are working (I’ve been learning to drive initially by running laps on Time Attack even without Ghosts to chase). The post-race bonus for Rivals level is gone though without a Rival to chase. I hope they enable Rivals in Class based again soon, I’m new to the game and it sounds fun.
