Bummed we aren’t getting a pack, but very excited for the Ford GT. Can’t wait to clock some laps with that thing! Hopefully a later pack or expansion is released.
I’m still diving into making paint schemes & working tunes for different tracks for the NASCAR DLC… I’ve got more cars, not including the NASCAR DLC, than I know what to do with.
If the new rivals event is a bounty hunter one where you beat x person who did x time I will be very disappointed in t10. In fact so much so I’ll probably not buy another game from them.
This is not all bad new folks! It could mean that there will be a grand reveal at E3 of some amazing expansion pack for this game that could be free, just like they did in 2014 when the Nordschleife / Nurburgring was revealed for free along with a car pack for FM5. So we could still get a double whammy of a surprise at ET! I hope I’m right on this.
Think about it folks, the reveal of FH3 is the domain of Playground Games, not Turn 10, but I’m sure there is work on the Turn10 side in terms of media presentation content on the website etc. So Turn10 must have in mind some cool free stuff to give away for FM6 in celebration of their 10 year anniversary…hope I’m right on this one!!!
It would seem to get the IMSA Cougar they would have visited the Roush Collection. The Roush Collection has a GT90. I have no knowledge on anything whatsoever but who knows what they could have scanned while at the Roush Collection. The GT90 is one of several epic possibilities.
Ever since FM4, Turn 10 has really had some interesting cars. Most of the cars that I wanted in previous version, are now in FM6. they rarely fail to amaze me with the cars they choose to include. I am a racer, and I prefer the R class and up, almost exclusively (A and B muscles, and S and A class rally/rallicross being exceptions).
I would suspect that the Ford related news will be that The Ford FocusRS will be the cover car for FH3, and FM6 will gets version. Possibly, Ford may officially announce (and confirm rumors) the Ford Foucus RS500! (The rumored RS500 version of the current RS gets the usual upgrades and deletes to get it to full on balls to the wall spec).
Through a relative of a friend, I was lucky enough to be able to visit the Roush shop in January of 04. Saw some pretty cool things that day. The GT90, the Indygo and the Lightningbolt Ranger concepts, all just sitting there under car covers, being ignored by everyone but me. I was there with the purpose to spy on the Ford GT, which was still under development at the time, and I got to peek behind the curtain, so to speak. There were several of them in various states of assembly and level of finish, some that were chassis and suspension mules, with only a driver’s seat and no interior panels at all, a couple were more complete. There was an F250 Super Duty regular cab long bed 2wd in plain white, with gauges and computer mounts and monitors all just screwed into the dash wherever it would fit, and I was told it had the complete driveline from one of the GTs in there, logging discreet testing miles. Now THAT would be a truck to have. The other thing that was cool was a couple Mustangs, one with black leopard spots all over it’s white paint. I asked about that, and was told that was the “new Cobra”, which eventually became the Shelby GT500 in '07. They fired it up and drove it out as I stood there drooling, and asking where I could put my job application . . . One of my fondest car days ever.
