So a free car and leagues that we’ve already pretty much got
Had a feeling Fm6 was dead after the Nascar Exp
Pretty crap news but thanks @mechberg for not keepin us guessing all day/week/month
In other news - Asseto Corsa is just around the corner as well as E3 blueballing
Definitely looking forward to Assetto as well! Actually I picked up Project CARS again now and I’m playing that daily now (barely played it last year as I just got it before FM6 came out). It’s amazing how fun to drive it is with the proper game setup. And the realistic feeling is golden: the singleplayer career calender, qualifying races, blue flags, penalties, dynamic weather, different tyre choices, helmet camera that looks into corners, motion blur, great car sound, no silly PI, silly rewind, or pointless cash system, the list goes on and on. Plus it’s got a lot of maps you don’t find in any other console racer, I think only iRacing beats it but that’s on the PC. Forza 6 does feel much more like an arcade game to me now. But on the pro side for Forza, it feels more polished and I really like Forza Vista and the huge amount of cars. But for pure racing? Nah, give me PCARS or Dirt Rally any day. And soon hopefully also F1 2016 and Assetto Corsa.
A bit of a shame, we are still missing a few “cars of the moment” and while the might be in Forza Horizon 3, it would be a shame to have to weight a year and a half to drive them in a Forza with the more enjoyable physics engine.
What that we get a FREE car? come on now its not that serious. Though yes i would have loved a fresh set of cars myself this month but im not disappointed. We got a highly requested car for free.
Turn 10 must save some cars for upcoming titles. Fm6 have the best garage ever in a racing game. Ok some Japanese cars and tracks are missing. But that’s not in the hand from turn 10. They gave us the nissan gtr gt500 or the huracan st car. Thats only 2 cars i could easily count 50 other cars that impressed me. The only car I really miss is the AMG GT GT3. The M6 and 488 GT3 are simply to new. Turn 10 has done a great job. And maybe whe get in the future some cars.
The only thing what I must criticism is that the cars are not well grouped. I really hoped that update will solve that issue.
I know. It´s just that since there was no notification that the DLC stopped for 6, so everyone was looking forward to the 1st Tuesday in June.
But well that´s how it often goes with T10. Of course I do appreciate the free car.
Can’t say I understand the hate in this thread. Dlc was guaranteed for the 1st 6 months after release which we are way past. The world will keep turning, most of you will still keep playing forza, so just chill!
Distribution method for the car sucks a bit but is it really that bad? 1st world problems I guess…
Looking forward to giving this car a good thrashing in r class
Hate is a big word. If someone really hate forza he have better things to do to write here in the forum. Is it really hate when someone have different views about the game. I would guess most are simply disappointed nothing more and nothing less
Yeah OK maybe hate was a little strong but you got the point. Yes Turn 10 get things wrong sometimes but equally they deserve a little credit when they do something positive like give away for free a car a fair number of people wanted. Just a shame I didn’t get mine before I signed off for the night.
You guys are acting ridiculous!! You just got an awesome FREE car and a new championship event. T10 never guaranteed you a car pack for each month. Be grateful for the game they’ve made for us.
Seriously the majority of the people on these forums sound like spoiled little [Mod edit- WSD- profanity and alluding to profanity is against ToS] !!!
I remember playing pitfall on Atari 2600. I really enjoyed that game. The music. The sounds. You may have never seen this, but the games were on cartridges at that time! So no bonus or update of any kind, ever. And games were not cheap. Sometimes the same price you pay now…
Times have changed of course, but I don’t feel like Turn 10 has to provide new content every month. However I consider they could work harder on fixing bugs or other problems, though this doesn’t bring in more money.
What gives you the impression they stopped supporting FM6? DLC-wise, most Forza titles get up to a year’s worth of car packs and other content. Usually DLC is removed from Xbox Live after 3-4 years, from what I can tell.
Playability-wise, T10 continues to offer events and Forza Rewards for legacy games from Forza 4 onwards.
However, most of the focus this month is being directed to Le Mans and the E3 reveal of Forza Horizon 3, and once that comes out, most people will be playing that. Those who prefer the closed tracks of FM over the open world of FH won’t be left out, however.
