No drafting in this game?

I’ve done over 100 races, and in my stats, the drafting are all to 0. How’s that possible? Is this going to be patched day one on October 2nd?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by aspiration. Could you be more specific?

Believe he’s referring to the manufacturer aspirations. In other Forzas you leveled up with specific manufacturers for bonuses from those manufacturers.

Yes Drafting! Sorry I used the French word :disappointed_relieved: there’s no drafting at all in this game. Even in the stats, it says, 0 perfect drafting… Same for friend.

So yeah, I meant drafting, no aspiration, sorry for the confusion, I used the French word haha.

When I race, I can’t feel the drafting, I have the same top speed when I follow a car or when I don’t. But the AI seems to be able to do it, when they’re behind they catch up easily.

And in the stats, it’s all to 0. After over 100 races.

I’ve also noticed this. I just figured they took it out, but it might be a mistake.

Seems to work for me.

I did a Nascar series in the single player and there was drafting, I got some perfect drafts. What are you guys talking about?

I have said this in this thread as well, but I have done 90+ races and have 0 total drafts. I am sure this is a bug for some people as it is impossible I haven’t gotten a single draft in 90+ races.

Btw, I am talking about Total Drafts, found in the My Drivatar menu, not perfect drafts (although good and perfect drafts say 0 as well).
I am playing on an original Xbox One.

I am not saying everybody has this bug, I am saying I have 0 drafts in total in over 100 races now. I have really tried the last few races to draft as well and it just doesn’t count it ever. I know other people have gotten this to work, but for me it doesn’t (and I have played plenty of Forza before to know what counts as a draft).

I also tried to hang onto the bumper of an other car for a whole straight and it didn’t count. It also seems some other people have trouble with it as well.
I can’t remember every having trouble with getting them either and I have played Forza since Forza 2. I never had to do anything special to get draft skills.

We will see if it’s a big problem or not once it releases onto the public I guess.

I’m having the same issue too. Have about 10 hours of play and haven’t received either a good or perfect draft notification yet (and I’ve been intentionally drafting to make sure).

I haven’t been able to Draft myself. Must be one of the bugs.

It’s not a bug, you just have to be touching the car in front of you at over 100mph. It used to be way too generous, then fixed in Forza6, and now Forza7 its a bit too tight. You really have to be touching the car in front of you to get a draft score.

I had to give the guy in front a small nudge before my drafting starting working…now it works fine

That didn’t work for me, but I possibly didn’t do it correcty (tried it on the Mulsane straight on Le Sarte). Will keep trying when I have the chance.

NASCAR… you can get plenty on the ovals…
