Nissan Fairlady Z 432 ‘69 - Inaccurate, Deformed and Outdated Car Model

The 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432 (Datsun 240Z) is one of the very best sports cars ever made, everything from its driving characteristics and engine to its beautiful look show how good this car really is.

Like the Silvia S15, this car is very bothersome in FORZA due to the terrible car model that has been in use since the original Motorsport (FM1). It’s really surprising how neglected this car feels and looks in FH5 due to the erroneous proportions and details.

Where do I even begin with this one? First of all, the current car model is outrageously bad and what’s funny is that this becomes evident when you park the car next to the Fast and Furious Car Pack Fairlady Z movie car in FH5.

While the movie car is nowhere near the original since it has been extensively modified in and out - the proportions of the vehicle tell you everything that is wrong with the original 1960 Fairlady Z if it was not apparent to the devs.

Modeling flaws on the 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z:

  1. Oversized Taillights that are not only inaccurate in shape, height and width but are somehow very close to each other.

  2. Extremely narrow width of the vehicle. Easily observed when looking at the front and rear ends.

  3. Inaccurate shape and depth of the headlight cavity. The head, sight are somehow much tinier than the actual car.

  4. Erroneous shape and slope of the C-Pillar (where the Z emblem is located) contributing to the dwarfed/stunted growth look of the vehicle.

  5. Wrong dimensions in length and width of the wheelbase, this along with the poor shape contributes to the tiny skinny look.

  6. The rake and width of the side windows are incorrect. They are much shorter and abrupt compared to the real car.

  7. The front end is too skinny in height. Looks as if it was stepped on my somebody.

  8. Same goes for the rear end where it’s skinny in width and height, worsened by the oversized taillights.

  9. Inaccurate size of both driver and passenger doors and side skirts in length and height. Wrong sized fuel door.

  10. The angle and slope of the hood is inaccurate.

It’s an absolute disaster and shame that this legendary car has been so bad in FORZA. Even the cockpit camera and model is ridiculous.
