New User: Social and other tabs greyed out.

Hi. I’ve just bought Forza Horizon 3 for my xbox 1 so that I can race with my grandson. He has the game on his console.

When we tried to connect we couldn’t because the Social tab on the app running on my console is greyed out. Likewise Marketplace and a few others.

The main if not only reason for buying this is to spend time with my grandson online (we live apart) so I’d like to fix asap. Can someone please assist. Thanks

Play the game a little bit, and things will open up for you. That’s the “fix” for everyone. Enjoy the game a bit, then you’ll be able to also play with your Grandson.

Yep about an hour or so of game play and it starts to let you in to the rest of the game, generaly once you have opened 3 festivals from memory. Enjoy a top game with you grand son.
