So it’s been over a year since release. A lot of promises were made, lots of hope for this game was made.
But unfortunately nothing can fix it. Constant crashing from the game is worse than anything. I paid a full 100 euro for this,
A game that’s worse than a Ubisoft or EA game combined. You can even select your favorite Bethesda game. It will probably have less issues than Forza 7.
It feels like all the development went into the DLCs and none to fixing issues, because they all just got worse.
I used to get a crash every hour or so. Now I can’t even do a single race without getting a crash. It crashes within 5 minutes of gameplay or less. It’s unacceptable for something that cost me 100 euro.
A year after release and it still has issues, even worse than they used to be. Tried switching accounts, tried reinstalling Windows, driver updates, resetting the whole game, etc. There’s nothing that will fix this, so I just want to ask, what exactly is T10 doing with their time? They’re obviously not fixing Forza 7. They just give a free car every month and boom, job done. I’m extremely angry and annoyed as my 100 euro literally went towards a screensaver. Only the menu doesn’t crash. Everything else is broken, the game either crashes. Or it’s broken.
It’s been a year T10… A year of waiting I’ll never get back, just like my 100 euro. Just because I thought you’ll fix the issued in a month or two.
Disappointment and regret is all I got from my 100 euro. Game loads fine. loads the race fine. But once I start driving, it takes 1 minute or less to freeze the game and quit to desktop…

So many people play this game without issue on both Xbox and PC, maybe it’s not the game?

Oh yes, every game works without issue, literally 0 problems. It’s only this. That means it’s definitely a problem with my system. Sounds about right.
If it’s not Forza, then why does every other game work 100%, no freezes, no crashes, etc. It’s always been Forza that had issues. So maybe it’s not the system. Maybe it’s laziness to fix issues.
Try uninstalling the game, deleting your profile, clear presistant storage, clear system cache. Then redownload your profile and game, and see if that helps. It may not be the game, nor your profile , but a possible corrupted game save causing issues for you. I’ve had issues in the past with one or two games, not at the same time, that these steps fixed it.
Also, playing with a wired connection is better than wireless, if you’re currently on wireless. Try these steps, and report back with the verdict.
Always wired. Don’t like the input lag on Wireless controllers.
Im playing without issue on my PC that barely meets minimum requirements
Maybe you are expecting too much from your PC…try changing your settings

CPU: i5 750 @4GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3 @2666MHz
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB STRIX -185 to core and 585 to memory
Game running at low to medium settings at 4K, unlocked it stays at 80-100FPS but it’s locked to 60FPS to reduce power usage and CPU usage.
PC specs are fine, I managed to fix the issue by replacing all the drivers, reinstalling F7, then restarting the PC, updating Windows, clearing system cache. And then changing the Registry for Xbox services.
I shouldn’t have to do all this though for 100 euro if you guys get me. It should work as soon as it’s installed, and who knows for how long it’ll work for. I hope some update will fix all the issues.
But I’ve been waiting a year and we have to rely on people giving us hotfixes.

No. A waste of time is defending a broken game which requires you to do 50 things before it works after you paid 100 euro for it.
You’re over clocking a 2.66ghz CPU to 4 GHz? That’s pretty rough on that old CPU
Has been OCd for the past 6 years, it’s watercooled for the past 2 years so temps are 60 or below 60. Surprisingly fast for such an old CPU.
Shows that the game is optimized really well. Now I just wish it actually worked without wasting hours trying to fix it.
