New to steering wheel, need help!

Hey everyone!

I am not new to the game, but I am new to playing with a wheel. So I am looking for tips to play with it.

The wheel is Thrustmaster T150 as I have read that it is the best starter wheel. I have it set to 900 degrees and in game settings is except few minor changes pretty much default. The thing is I can only drive AWD cars on tarmac (and even that took me a little bit to get used to).

Why I am looking for help here is if there are any settings that are a MUST with a wheel, cause RWD cars are literally impossible to drive for me. like I there is not a corner I dont rewind 3 times with those. Or should I maybe start with like B class RWD cars? I would also like some tips for “Cross country” races. I got an Impreza with rally tune but I have the same problems as with RWD cars, just impossible. I have been trying all day to figure it out, counter steering and [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] but to no avail, still going sideways.

So yeah, that is that. ANY help is appreciated I need to learn everything that there is to driving those harder cars and tracks so I am all ready for FH4!

Thank you very much and have a nice evening.

Try setting DOR to 540 instead of 900. Also, IF you have the game set to Sim Steering, go back to Normal. Sim is a setting for a controller and can lead to all kinds of unwanted experiences with a wheel.

Yeah I am on Sim steering, I will try to go normal and see what it does. Thanks a lot.
