I think it would be great if the Developers would add a new event in the Stadium. Do this like the existing Games that has the Flag Rush etc but instead make this one that you play a Soccer game on 2 teams in the Stadium. Have one large sized Soccer Ball and the event is like a real Soccer game except with the players being the Cars (sounds like something out of the Cars movie series, right?) I think players would love an event like this and it could be put in the weekly Festival Playlist some of the weeks. My daughter and I would enjoy an event like this for sure, it would combine 2 things she really likes, Soccer and Car Driving games. Please consider this idea. Thank You!

But as real event i dont know was more fun with working freeroam/convoys in FH4…
Probably end up being a free for all ramfest, plus side is it might keep rammers out of online racing lol

Just noticed this post, exactly my thought process. If they are busy ramming elsewhere, it reduces the number within proper race events, hopefully

Yeah they did do it on top gear when Clarkson and co were doing it.
Only problem I can see with this is people will camp the soccer ball spawn, potentially stopping players from being able to hit it if the car is big enough (looking at you Tankpool).
They would have to restrict the cars that could be used for example hot hatches only or Somthing like that.

My first thought was they were going to do events like this in the stadium.
Keep it to small hatchbacks like TopGear did or Mini’s, ghost those sitting still so they can’t surround the ball. My only fear was they turned it into Rocket League, I thought to start with this was their intention, we don’t need Rocket League in Horizon. We need some sort of real life events, to remove the kiddie feeling that I get at present.

They could host destruction derbies (remember the old game from years ago, something like this, haha the graphics back then were rubbish).
I was going to say Stunt Park, but I think this might be what they have planned for next series. Turning the stadium into a fully equipped area with ramps, jumps etc… sort of like the layout for the end of the showcase. It would be cool if we got to use the Monster Boneshakers outside the stadium. Not sure why they didn’t include them in the car collection, considering they allowed us to drive them in the showcase?
At present the stadium is an empty waste of space, and considering the size of it, it only adds to the emptiness feeling across the centre of the map. Personally I think it should have different events within it every seasons, a proper Playground Games area, where the players can choose from a number of different events (I don’t mean flag rush etc I mean proper real life events). I think there is even room within for some Nascar?
I’d love to create my own events, but without a proper instruction manual for the event lab rules, it’s difficult to figure out how to setup them up. I’ve tried hundreds of times to setup rules, and they fail to take effect or don’t work that way I was intending. Not sure why there isn’t a help section or examples to help creators figure them out?

Sorry went off topic a bit, but back on topic, there is definitely enough area in the stadium to host a football type game, and allow actual fun within the game. A place to just relax and have fun with others, a proper social area without the serious attitude getting in the way. But please don’t make it rocket league, make it more like how TopGear did it in real life.
I hate Rocket League, don’t know if anyone picked this up? 
Best option for inside the stadium would be demolition derby. The game’s damage physics already support it. Would generate huge interest.

Demolition (I knew I didn’t have the right word when I posted above), but I agree 100% with you. There is a whole list of events they “could” create, but for some reason didn’t, why create a stadium which is empty?
The winter layout wasn’t even exciting, I drove in did what was required for the accolades then never returned, it still felt boring.

Funny that people are saying Demolition Derby but not mentioning the Driving game that already has this, The Crew 2. My daughter and I have that game and enjoy playing the Demolition Derby’s. I like the idea of adding that in the FH5 Stadium. The Crew 2 gives you cars that fall completely apart really easily, would be cool to have a DD with more real life car physics vs cars that fall apart too easily. Kudo’s to those suggesting this idea.

Never played the Crew 2, I think I installed it, opened it, but never actually got around to trying it out, not sure why? I’ll need to give it a go, I used to spend hours playing Demolition Derby on the PS1, so I’ll need to give this a go.
My confusion around the stadium is why take all that effort to design and implement it into the game, if it’s just going to be sitting empty? Doesn’t seem logical to me.
