We pay for this service and yet it seems to be down ever time you look at it. At this point, XBL should be free…
It’s not technically “broken” but it was built to present no shake and now it has a couple degree shudder.
I know what to do to stabilize it so I may get that done. Now I just need to use it more and more to get used to using it. It’s lots of fun but equally much more work to counterstter using the wheel than say, a thumbstick.
Yeah i bought a wheel at some point, can’t remember which one, recall paying around 150$ for it, but i brought i back after i realized i didn’t have proper support for it and neither did i have the necessary space to use it :S. I do remeber it was a considerable more effort to use than a controller
I think it just takes getting used to. I mean, the thumbstick is super easy to drive and countersteer, for example, because you barely move the thing and it’s easy to toss left, right, left, right over and over again. To do the same adjustment with a wheel requires some more physical effort.
Unless you’re an actual race car driver you’re also not used to doing this with a wheel on a daily basis while driving. Even those who do race on a track aren’t necessarily doing Horizon stuff either. I was hoping to use the wheel more for the motorsport side of things like FM5, FM6, Project Cars but I do need to get used to it so I’m using it a lot in Horizon as well. I’d love to use it on FM4 but darn thing isn’t X360 compatible.
As for your challenge - I will have a tune shared later this evening. Search for PPiDrive in the Chevelle, I don’t have a name yet but chances are it will also be joe lobby. Sorry, I’m creative with the cars, not the naming…
The other two I talked to you about last night are pretty good. I like the feel of that first one, but the second one clearly has faster times. It feels good as well, but I’m not sure which I liked better in that regard as they’re close. Neither was fast enough to catch you though so… … … …my build on the other hand you better check that rearview. My build will do top 15 on some of the non-circuit Nice tracks.
