Neutral should be disabled when driving a car in manual mode(wheel). Other direct competitor games do it, it can’t be hard to disable neutral when you select the option to put the game on manual (no clutch).
Example, I drive with wheel and shifter most of the time on manual mode. Whenever I move through the gears the game will slip through neutral briefly, apart from this being silly and an ongoing oversight for a long time, it doesn’t affect the car most of the time. But on some cars it’s not good at all.
Where do I contact to request/leave feedback for this simple fix to be noted to be implemented in the future, at worst in the next game? It would be pretty much be a few lines of code.
Have your been using your wheel in manual mode (no clutch) with a shifter though? It will always flick through neutral when going through gears, or even putting in neutral. Shouldn’t happen.
Looked at the link, don’t see where to leave feedback? Just FAQs of issues etc.
I don’t have a shifter for my current wheel. I use both manual with and without clutch depending on the car. I had a both shifters for my Fanatec wheel, sequential and H gate. The gated shifter did not have a neutral position. Maybe I just never noticed.
I don’t understand the problem honestly as, in a lot of cars in real life, for a brief moment of time you are in neutral. You can also probably negate this effect with deadzones, short throw shifters, software mapping, etc.
You can submit a ticket to them if you feel it’s an issue though, here’s a link, just follow the instructions:
