i get my Nascar dlc yesterday and i can’t play the Nascar multiplayer league? There is closed but why?
Any infos about that problem? Or new events coming in future?

Somebody at T10 got dumb idea to limit people to play in leagues. It work,

The NASCAR league is not closed, there are just very few people playing it, if you keep trying, you will eventually get in, but the lobbies will be very small.

look at the league total, gonna be like 10 -20 people probably. Just not a lot of interest, even the regular leagues are dwindling. It does close at certain times, the schedule should be there but even when open you will be hard pressed to find people in there. Porsche is the same way although a recent and first time ever Porsche ghost lobby gained decent interest. Ghost isn’t gonna work for Nascar though it would defeat the purpose. It s shame really that all this DLC is underutilized, I think they need a different model for expansions in the future. Just not enough people are willing to buy them.

They never should have made these “expansions” to begin with. Porsche shouldve been in the game as well as the nascar cars. The tracks also shouldve been added for free. Not many people considered a car pack with a track an expansion no matter how they tried to present it.
All it did was basically segregate the players who bought it which obviously didnt work out. The porsche and nascar lobbies were empty within a couple of weeks.
If they want to do an “expansion”, make it for appearance parts like a rim pack or bodykit packs. I guarantee they wouldve made more money selling $5 packs like that and it wouldve cost them a lot less to produce.

This I have to agree with… I’m all in favour of keeping the game as fresh as possible with as many expansions as possible - but at a price that reflects actual content as opposed to a premium amount that only seeks to detract the casual gamers from continuing their Forza adventure. £32 for a couple of tracks and a handful of cars is a huge ask and if the lobbies are as empty as people are suggesting then it’s more than obvious that the initial ‘‘loving it’’ brigade have long since downgraded it through ‘‘liking it’’ to ‘‘well, i’m quite bored of it’’ and casual gamers are (sensibly) loving something else with their 30 odd pounds.
And that’s not good for anyone. Not good for the continuity of the game or for the select few late arrivals who made the purchase only to discover nobody actually plays that bit any more. Such an experience will probably make them think twice about a future purchase which again is not god for the game.
The following bit i’ve said before and i still stand by my original comments:
You can say what you like about SMS and PCars but they were incredibly fair with their DLC pricing policy by not targeting it’s dwindling hardcore community with extortionate prices - instead choosing to entice everyone possible to make a purchase. I play PCars on a casual basis and aside from ‘The Ring’ bought every single expansion. I played F6 on a much more hardcore basis and beyond the ultimate edition (purchased purely so i could play it early) i’ve bought absolutely nothing because i simply cannot subscribe to a franchise that no longer has the gamer’s interest at heart.
Horizon 3 was bought for £23.99 (black friday) and sold for £28 on xmas eve (so i got to play that for free) and F7 quite simply isn’t going to happen. And that i’m afraid is my loyalty to what was once a fantastic and hugely respected brand.
Sorry T10 but that’s how i feel.

So i need a lil bit more luck to find other people…

I think you can only start a lobby when 2 or more people are trying to join one at the same time.

noticed the achievement points for playing a multiplayer nascar league on jan. 2 that i don’t have
i have been trying since then each day to jump in a league but the last league ended jan. 1
hoping they start a new league soon
Last one I need to 100% the NASCAR Expansion. Slightly annoying that it seems nigh on unobtainable seeing as it is such an easy achievement to get. Seems entirely based on luck now.
I think it’s been commandeered for FM7 testing - recall this is due out this year.
The support for this game was half hearted from day one. It was like, here’s your pethetic little 7 cars a month. They never really tried to improve the game. That would’ve required refined sound and visuals, maybe accessibility, and most importantly, much more new places to race.
I can’t even turn the game on because it feels so dull and lifeless, and that feeling carried over to FH3, which I loathed from day one, but my fault for buying the ultimate edition and exp. pass. I hope a new company comes along to steal the throne. Only for now, nothing’s close.
