After many hours of practice and and trial and error, I’ve finished my SpongeBob paint scheme on the GMC Vanterra. For my first attempt on whole cartoon characters, I think it turned out fairly well.
I’ve uploaded it to the storefront, just search for my gamertag or the description SpongeBob in case anyone is interested.

Thats a nice start buddy!!!
My advice? Keep playing with the editor and don’t be afraid to try something new and share with us…
I think all these designs look great man. Keep playing around in the livery/vinyl editor, and before you know it you will be pushing out complex designs that people wonder how you got them looking so good.
-Have you messaged any really good fantasy designers? I’m sure they would talk to you, and give you plenty of helpful tips. I might recommend you contacting gamertag: playitagainsam2 He is a really good Fantasy designer, and I’m sure he could help you take your designs to the next level. And i am not saying these designs are bad, they are really, really good for first designs.
I’d say just keep at it! They’re looking great! and they’ll only get better aslong as you stick with it!!
When you’re comfortable with making these designs, try something a little more challenging… like a cartoon ( Retro Cartoon Contest

)
Always post your images here, so the community can give you hints and tips on how to improve/perfect the way you do things… in the end it’s your choice to use it or not
Keep at it!
Thanks for the encouraging feedback! I’m currently working on a SpongeBob mural on the GMC van. I already did a Lamborghine Huracan with SpongeBob’s face on the hood and doors, which I think turned out pretty good. I would like to do the entire character and maybe some of the other characters as well ( their shapes seem simple enough as not to be terribly challenging }. I’ve seen a few YouTube tutorials that I found helpful. If I run into any snags I would love to share my WIP with other fantasy artists and ask for their advice. Again thanks for your feedback. I was reluctant to post these at first, but your positive feedback has encouraged me to keep practicing and hopefully get better. It’s nice to be part of a community where veterans are willing to help us rookies.

Great start! I like the Mustang.
I accidentally posted over my original post. Just want to clear up any confusion the comment about my Mustang might cause.
Like it a lot. I’m a grown kid who still watches SpongeBob
