Does anyone know a way to get multiples of the midnight battle cars? For example, I want to have 2 different Rx7s but how do i obtain the second one? They don’t include the car in the dealership after I’ve won the event. Also, no one is either able to or wants to auction the RX7. Any help?
I can’t remember if I’ve seen any RX-7s in wheelspins, but I have noticed that the Lamborghini Murcielago SV shows up in the wheelspins. I think it would be strange if some Midnight Battle cars can be obtained in wheelspins while others can’t. I don’t know, though. But if you go to the auction house and that Mazda model shows up in the search options, if you can actually search that specific car, I’d have to think that somebody somewhere will eventually be selling one. The Lamborghini shows up in the auction search list and I’ve seen people selling those.
I was wanting that Lamborghini so I spent time looking into different ways of getting it, and if there’s another way besides Midnight Battles, wheelspins or auctions, I haven’t found it.
You will need to go to the auctions. There are loads of Regals an Murcielagos there, but it’s really hard to see the M3. And you’re really out of luck with the RX7. I’ve never seen one there. Maybe with more people playing the game, someone will want to get rid of it, but just like the Gallardo Superleggera he’s nowhere to be found so far.
I was extremely lucky and managed to snipe a RX7 last saturday, it went for only 100k on the buyout.
But aside from that I never seen another one, and I check every other time.
This keeps my hopes up! I look for one every time I get near the Auction House. I was expecting far more than 100k for how hard it is. Someday I, and luckly the guy that made this post, will find a RX7 there.
I noticed that the Gallardo and Bentley GT are both from the skill trees. I eventually unlocked both but I was seeing the Bentley a lot in the wheelspins and now I have more than one of the Bentley as the original owner. But I’ve never seen the Gallardo even featured in a wheelspin.
A uptade for people that want another RX-7: It is possible to find them. I got one in a search, but it was already bought when it loaded up. So I started searching like a madman: search, no result, back up, search again. I did this for some good 15 minutes. I found another 2 cars. One, again, loaded up already bought, and I was able to get the third, all stock, for 20k. So there are some RX-7s in the auction house, but since there are a lot of people after them, they get sold really quickly.
I’m glad I have mine, but I am torn about the fact I can’t buy another one. On one end, I love the fact it’s so rare, almost like real life in the US. On the other end, I like having multiple FDs so I don’t have to keep switching tunes. I just wish there was a 20b option and the 2 rotor and 4 rotor, had higher HP potential. I make 700whp in my FD for over 3 years now with over 25k miles on that build. O well, I love it either way.
The Gallardo is pointless unless you really like it. I bought one from the auction house and then instantly resold it as it has no customisation options.
I had the same issue and the easiest fix is to save one setup of the rx7 the way you want it say for drifting I have a 4rotor setup with maxed front camber and a full sliding tune and a saved setup that is more for racing using the stock 2 rotor and you can load the tunes on the fly it will install all the separate parts and there is no need to even go to the horizon hub. Whenever I get to a drift zone I just hit pause go to tune under car, hit select and load my drift setup and it drops the 2.6l in on the spot. I honestly like it better than if I had two different versions but that’s just me
With the exception of the Murcielago (which is available on wheelspins), you can only get additional Midnight Battle cars through the AH.
Getting the RX-7 is tricky though, with an insane demand there’s almost always none of them on the AH and you must attempt buyout as soon as you see one on search. And yes, it’s possible:
Ya, looking for attention… or trying To help clueless people figure out how to play the game the way it was intended to be played. You got me there buddy
There’s a limit to the number of saved tunes that you can have and it’s real easy to reach. A workaround is to have separate cars for each tune, then you don’t have to save the tunes. And even if that wasn’t the case, I’d rather have a car for each situation rather than have one car masquerading as four. That’s just me, though.
