Not sure how I ended up there, but I was just looking on the Xbox Store at reviews of FM7, and the vast majority of them are laughable. There are 42 5* reviews, only 5 of which were posted after the game was available for pre-load let alone release. Five. Out of forty-two. If you take the 37 ‘OMG im so excided for this game :33333 xD’ reviews out, that takes the overall rating from 4* to 2.2*, which is frankly dreadful for any Forza game. Am I the only one who thinks it’s idiotic to let people submit reviews before they’ve even played the game?

There is no point in even posting a review if you haven’t played the game. Something tells me those are band wagoneers or Youtube peeps.

I thought you can’t rate games anymore without buying them? And I am sure there are also lots of 1 star “they destroyed VIP” reviews. It’s balanced. For me a 3 feels right. It’s a good game that is badly influenced by loot crates and VIP and missing features and removed features and the lack of night/weather on the majority of tracks.

I’m pretty sure that’s the case, but evidently pre-order still counts as buying, there are reviews from as far back as June/July. And while there were 1* reviews moaning about VIP, they’re a hell of a lot more valid than 5* ones that say ‘cant wait for this game !!! !’.
