Turn 10 should flex their muscles with the podium scenes. They can have the driver that won, jumping for joy. On a close finish, have the second-place driver gesture that they were so close. Sometimes have the winner doing the Macarena, and eventually the other two drivers join in. Have all 3 drivers in sync, doing what the winner now does. Or they can lean into the 3rd place contestant celebrating by spraying themselves with champagne, while the other two look dumbfounded. They can have some fun with this, and it will make the winning scenario something to look forward to.
If I were in charge, I’d even throw in a nod to another game. There’d be a bon-fire scene from Dark souls for the player driveatar, where the members of their racing team is sitting around a heater, TV (or something), and the player’s driveatar would sit down just like the players in Dark souls.
I say, go wild!
