Nothing has been confirmed either way, so at this point, all we can do is wait to see what Tuesday brings.
Personally, I reckon with Horizon 3 not coming out until later in the month, it would be nice for Turn 10 to send off FM6 with a final car pack at the start of the month, but who knows.
I got the impression from one of Brian’s postings about the future of updates pertaining to this game that it would continue to be updated via expansion packs and DLC way past its normal one year DLC cut off date. The game is set to where they can continue to add features, free cars, DLC and expansion packs that feature new tracks and cars. If I were Turn 10, I’d keep going with content updates as folk will continue to pay for decent cars and tracks…IMO!
Very true mate, and that’s what ice been sliding to in many of my posts in various threads where the game life is concerned.
You’re right in the mark with regards how it’s GOING to be moving towards.
And it’ll come once the next iteration arrives alongside the new hardware, system… And I emphasis the word SYSYEM…
While their conserved efforts are aimed squarely at a Horizon, as it’s the next cab off the ranks, as they say…
One huge thing ppl need to come to grips with though is… That it’ll be the end of THE Xbox as we current;y know it. But more on that later. Doing a little write up on what the future holds for Xboxers globally. Bro stay tuned.
Something about moving to a three year update cycle where you have major feature updates perhaps every six months with regular DLC and expansion packs to keep the game fresh - a move I would not mind at all, as it seems to be working well for EA’s mobile Real Racing 3.
I had no idea what that was. I’m not that keen on drag racing, but I do think an NHRA expansion would be a good idea. I might get it and learn an appreciation for that type of motorsport and I know others really enjoy it.
I wouldn’t bet on it… Usually all the new DLC cars from the previous Forza that are non racing etc. make it in to the next horizon game. If they announced new cars for FM6 that weren’t also in FH3 I’d be pretty surprised.
DirectX 12 isn’t going to be that big for the xbox, not like DX12, Mantle or Vulkan on pc for that matter. What devs have suggested is that additional low level calls will pull enough instruction taxing off the CPU to run native 1080p on ever game, as well as the abilty to better use and optimize the ESRAM. And Im not sure of the xbox, but PC version will allow devs to communicate with more than one core simultaneously. From DX1 to 11 they were only able to communicate with 1 pc core at a time. Now if that was on xbox, that would be a game changer
I do wish there was 1 last dlc like a players choice september dlc. Don’t think it was fair turn 10 had 2 back to back hand picked dlcs from them and not 1 catered for just us with only 7 cars. Oh well
In my eyes it was clear that with the forza race championship the fm6 dlc ends. If I’m honest there so many cars even from dlc’s I’m not pushing to it’s limits. I can live with it and in a bit more than 2 weeks fh3 comes. Only 4 cars I really missed and because there will maybe no more dlc I can count them, without calling them wishlist. 1. AMG GT3, 2. 2015 Audi R8 GT3, 4. 2016 Ferrari F488 GTE or GT3 8and 2016 Acura/Honda NSX. I was really supriced that none of them made it into the dlcs. But at the other hand whe got really unique dlc cars. Never expected that from turn 10.
