Is it possible to play the new Motorsport without a monthly multiplayer subscription?

Thanks for the reply. When I looked at the premium addition upgrade, it says multiplayer subscription needed. (Xbox)

you can play on pc for free (either trough the xbox app or steam - depends where you buy the game form).

I would be very surprised if different than FM7 in this regard

  • do single player career against ai
  • do rivals and compare yourself against drivers leaderboard globally
  • Forzathon events as single player

all without any subscription.

So builders cup against ai etc need nothing.

To race against other drivers realtime as multiplayer require subscription

  • not sure if called Xbox Gold or something else these days

I saw that too. It’s referencing that you need Game Pass to access the premium addition upgrade. You’ll notice it doesn’t say it if you view the premium full version of the game.

So do you think it means that if I buy a hard copy of the game and then purchase the premium bundle as an add on then I will have to purchase the game pass also?
