Calm down and drive the cars bro. Turn 10 has a lot of community contests, not to mention the different leagues (i.e. Virtual Motorsport, TORA, etc.) that offer chances to win in-game credits, DLC packs, and such. There are plenty of competitions floating about. Just recently, there was also the Honda promotion that entered you for a chance to go to a driving school if you drove the '14 Civic for 300 miles.
Turn 10 shows a lot more community involvement than most video game developers. There are new challenges and things to do every month, like clockwork.
