I already voted for the Evo Wagon
Nice, I want the VII and the IX Wagon.
There are very few Japanese cars in Forza that have accurate Japanese specifications, so I feel like complaining. A typical example is the CT9A, where the Evo8 MR in Forza is just the North American version of the Evo8 GSR, and the Evo9 MR in Forza is just the North American version of the Evo9 GSR. Maybe that’s why the Evo7, which doesn’t have a North American version, can’t be included in Forza.
I don’t like to mention other titles on the Forza forum, but both Gran Turismo titles have the correct Japanese specifications.
I wish they would prioritize their own country’s specifications instead of making everything North American, but it seems like a difficult job for T10 and PGG, who don’t know anything about diversity.
The Evo8MR included in Forza is a right-hand drive car, so it looks like a Japanese model, but there are many differences in the details, which makes me question the reporting attitude of T10 and PGG.
The side panels of the rear spoiler of the Evo8MR should be dark gray regardless of the body color.
The meter of the Evo8MR says “Evolution”, but the correct word is “LANCER”.
The weight of the car is set at 1410kg, but the correct answer is 1400kg.

I’ve reported it over on FM Car Modeling, as it’s more likely to get attention from the team that’s behind car models there.

Evo9 RS(2005)
Evo9 MR RS(2006)
These are all excerpts from the Japanese spec catalog. The Japanese spec RS is a base vehicle for competition that does not include AYC. Your image does not match any of them.
I would like to see thr EVO VII GSR
It seems that the car was silently changed from red to white, but the white car has a tail marker on the rear bumper. The driver’s seat is not on the right side. It is clear that it is a North American model because it is labeled Evo 8 in 2005. The Japanese model does not have such a tail marker. Also, the Japanese model Evo 8 is a 2003 model.
I also wish there was an Evo 7 GSR, but since the Evo 7 only exists in Japanese spec, it would be extremely difficult to get one for the T10 or PGG, which cannot be modeled without a North American spec.
I don’t care lol
The headlights and rear combination lamps of the CT9A are the same size, so if you just make the front and rear bumpers, it should look like the Evo7. That’s if T10 or PGG models the front and rear bumpers.
Is this the third photo? It seems that the image has been changed again, but it is now clearer than in the previous photo that the driver’s seat is on the left. The name of the car should be changed to “2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII RS (US)”. It is clearly a North American model.
The Japanese RS is a competition-based vehicle, but I have no knowledge of the North American RS, and I am not interested in it.
It’s an impossible wish to ask T10 or PGG for a “real Evo 9MR” which is the 4G63 final model. Because MR in Japan and MR in North America have different meanings, but they confuse the two.
Hopefully they’ll include the correct Japanese spec Evo and turn me into a liar lol
They have people choose between “MR or standard” in a poll asking “Which model do you prefer? (VII, IX)”.
It’s ridiculous that the model names offered are 7 and 9. When did Mitsubishi start selling the Evo 7 in North America?
The correct answer is probably 8 and 9, but from the process of creating the options it’s clear that they are not interested in anything other than the North American model.
In Japan, the MR is considered to be the year model for the Lancer Evolution.
They dont know this, it is clear that they only recognize the MR as a grade.
2001 Lancer Evolution VII (GSR,RS)
2002 Lancer Evolution VII GT-A
2003 Lancer Evolution VIII (GSR,RS)
2004 Lancer Evolution VIII MR (GSR,RS)
2005 Lancer Evolution IX (GSR,GT,RS)
2005 Lancer Evolution Wagon (IX based) (GT,GT-A)
2006 Lancer Evolution IX MR(GSR,RS)
2006 Lancer Evolution Wagon MR(IX MR based) (GT,GT-A)
I don’t mind getting the JDM version, unlike Civic and Swift that I want them LHD, would like to see this car (the VII) as a RHD.
I must sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings I may have had up until now regarding the North American version of the Evo 9MR.
This is the first time I’ve seen a left-hand drive Evo 9MR. The air dam on the front bumper is proof that it’s an Evo 9MR. The rear bumper clearly captures the characteristics of the North American model.
I believed that T10 and PGG were accurately investigating the North American version of the Evo 9MR, but I was wrong. In other words, it’s proof that T10 and PGG neglected to do an accurate survey of the vehicle and did a sloppy job.
Since the Evo 8, the Lancer Evolution has been officially sold in North America. I translated the English Wikipedia article into Japanese and interpreted it as meaning, “MR in North America is a grade.”
but I no longer understand the difference between sales in Japan and North America. I only have knowledge of Japan, and I have no interest in North American-spec Japanese cars.
