I love all Forza motorsport games. I have been enjoying Forza Horizon 2 but have found that i cant buy the Ferrari California. I see the car driving around the game but really wish that i could drive it myself. Any help is appreciated.
The California was a pre-order bonus DLC car. See this post and thread:

I did pre-order the game, I only received the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.

It depends on who you preordered the game with. Different retailers had different car codes.
Perhaps after all the content of the Car Pass has been released there will be a pre-order vehicle DLC. These cars are all on the disc, but the permissions to use them were based on which retailer you purchased the game from.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of this as I think it’s silly to withhold content based on where you purchased the product but it is what it is…
