I can explain how this got 800 votes:
There’s the option to move a topic and to close a topic, they’re right besides each other
For some reason, when you close a topic, every vote gets “refunded”, but what actually happens is that every vote gets transferred to the topic with the latest activity, which was this one at the time, so every vote got transferred here
I asked for advice on what to do, haven’t received a response yet (but didn’t expect one either since this happened on the weekend, let the man have his rest)
Or move the votes to a car people actually want like the SLR.
Then close this one. Its a topic that wasnt even in the 50s. If anything the votes should be moved to a different voting topic.
That deserves those votes.

The solution would not involve any other topic than the one that had the closed votes and this one.
Wouldnt it make sense to dump some of the votes from the submissions topic to other car voting topics? And why are people voting for that topic to begin with?

Because it’s funny
It should get dumped into a huge variety of different topics from topics which are not popular all the way up to super popular topics so its fair distribution.
And how do you know that those people wanted said cars their votes get dumped into in the first place?
What do you mean? Give me an example.
There’s 800+ unique votes in that section, random distribution basically guarantees complaints from people that didn’t actually want the car that their vote got dumped into for no reason
It would function like when a CEO pays their workers the same amount of money per person.

The votes in the Questions and Corrections and Car Topic Submissions are the Bosses and the individual car voting topics are the workers.
