The 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series was added to FH5 in June 2023, followed by Forza Motorsport.

In addition to the Black Series, the SL63 AMG F1 safety car or a safety car bodykit and wheels for a standard SL63 should be added as well

The SL 65 AMG Black Series is a monster. It was the most powerful Mercedes road car ever until the introduction of the AMG GT Balck Series, which finally beat its 670 PS more than a decade later. The Black was also the first coupe SL since the C107 SLC was cancelled in 1981. The removal of the convertible roof decreased weight and added the possibility of implementing a rear spoiler. The SL 65 had a massive 1000 Nm, despite using only a 5-speed automatic. Despite massive tires and bigger turbos, the Black Series is a whopping 250 kg lighter than the “normal” SL 65 AMG. It has been featured in most of the previous Forza games, and it’s time to add it to the latest one.

My favorite car in FH4! I hate that they removed it in FH5. Kinda stopped playing when I found out.
But I would much rather see the car that started it all: The SL55 AMG 2003. This was the gamechanger, a revolution. A luxury supercar in disguise that shocked the car industry. This is the go-to Mercedes when movies feature classic cars parked in front of a mansion; Testarossa, Murciélago etc.
With FH5s incredible audio, that brutal sounding M113k engine would attract a lot of Mercedes enthusiasts

well it doesn’t seem to be coming too soon unfortunately, tho its such a beloved car. this is my frist fh so i didn’t get to experience it yet. maybe they’ll add it with a crazy widebody kit option as well.

Forza have to bring back the SL (R230) to Forza Horizon 5 !!! There are so many exiting models: SL 65 Black Series, SL 65 pre Facelift, SL 600 pre Facelift, SL 500, SL 63,…

Hello everyone, WE GOT GOOD NEWS TO SHARE!!!
THE LONG-AWAITED SL65 AMG BLACK SERIES IS OFFICIALLY COMING BACK TO FH5 IN THE SERIES 22 UPDATE!!! It’s about time we have it back, but will be obtained in the Spring season.
It only took a year and a half to bring this V12 monster back, but it’ll take some weeks for us to wait, in order to celebrate for its return. It felt odd that a list of Mercedes-Benz cars were posted by PGG before FH5’s release and then SL65 wasn’t there. Till now, the legend is back in action.
