Memory leaks

So the game works fine, it runs great for the first 2 or 3 races no matter what track i’m on or if its night or rain but afterwards it starts stuttering really hard especially on Yas Marina and Rio. The others are still playable but these 2 are awful.

Thanks for reporting this. Can you give us more information about the system you are running Apex on?

I have exactly the same problem. I have a GTX 970, I5 6600 and 16 GB DDR4 Ram. The first 3 Races are super smooth and 60 FPS even on Ultra settings. But after 3 races I have many stutters and sometimes Freezes for 4 seconds.

Same here, my pc is i5 4590 gtx960 2gb 8gb ram ddr3

Having the same issue on Rio and Yas Marina and it might start stuttering even from the first race. It has to be something related to asset streaming because I either have the game waiting until the streaming is finished before rendering the frame or models and textures popping in and out. The former makes the game stutter a lot and makes it pretty much unplayable. Sometimes it seems just alt-tabbing or changing to windowed mode changes the behavior from one to the other, but can’t say anything definite without further testing. Also, the stuttering occurs even in the pre-race pitlane scene.

My specs are close to the minimum level, except on GPU:
Intel i3 @ 3.5GHz, GTX 960, 8GB DDR3, SSD

Same issue as above.

os : Windows 10 Pro
cpu : Intel Core i5 4670k
Ram : 16GB DDR3
GPU : Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 Ti
Driver version : 368.22

after 2/3 races it’s using up all 16 gigs of ram and possibly as a side effect i notice cpu load balancing going off (core 1 and 3 pegged at 100%, core 2 and 4 working at 30ish%

Yep same

Just started playing Apex and ran into this issue tonight.

System specs are:
I7 4770k@4.4ghz
2x EVGA 980 356.10 driver
16GB Corsair Dominator

I did the Brands Hatch in the rain without issue followed by Yas and I think right at the end of lap two my FPS went to a crawl with a mega stutter that seemed to be following a pattern of exactly 2 seconds. That was at 3840x2160 on medium-ish settings and I repeated the problem at 1080p on Ultra.

Same here. I7 6700k, 16gb ddr4, gtx 970, 850 evo ssd

Ditto here as well. Dont think its our system, i think its a program memory leak. I close the game and restart and its fine…for awhile then starts to stutter again.

I hope in a nexts updates they fix it the memory leak. The game when not have stuttering runs perfect with no great pc,but when the stuttering start…

System

Core i7-3820 @ 3.60 GHz
8GB DDR 3
X79-UD3 Motherboard (updated bios/F20)
GTX 1070 8GB
150GB SSD

I get the same problems, game runs great on everything maxed out, soon as I try Yas Marina or Rio it goes to the dumps, hitching all the time, and sometimes just crashing.

I’m also having similar issues.

i5 4670K 4ghz
8GB DDR3 1600
MSI GTX 1080
Samsung 250GB SSD

After 2 races (which run perfect) the game just starts to destroy my PC. Starts stuttering then just about locks up. It’s not overheating.

i5 3570k @ 4GHz
Win 10 Pro 10586.420
MSI GTX970 1920x1080
8gb System
Nvidia 368.39

Getting the same issue, while the game doesn’t push RAM up to infinity I have noticed heavier CPU and Disk load once the stutter kicks in.

i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
MSI GTX980ti 6GB
24GB CL9 DDR3 @ 1600MHz
Win10 Home(whatever the version you get from upgrading an 8.1 is)
Latest Nvidia Drivers

Same Symptoms here…good for a couple, then huge amounts of stutter and HDD accessing…Cranked everything all the way down and same problem. When it runs, it can run great at medium dynamic levels, but as soon as the stuttering starts, it just kills it

i5-6400@2.7GHz
Evga GTX960 2GB
8GB DDR4
Win10 pro - preinstalled windows app bloatware removed.
latest bios and vid card drivers.

I did some more testing and Im positive that the 2 tracks causing the memory leaks are Yas and Rio.

Stuttering for me begins after quite a while playing (maybe a couple of hours). Could it be taking longer than some because I have 32GB RAM, or 8GB video RAM (on each card though yes I know they’re not really combined to form 16GB)?

i7-5950hq

980M SLI

32GB RAM

M.2 RAID SSD

run it at 1080p, vsync’d, Ultra details (Dynamic results in lower framerate for some reason, and lower quality mirrors)

First noticed it in rainy conditions which would be pushing things harder with all the transparencies. Begins with just the ocassional stutter every now and again, but gets more frequent. I didn’t play long enough to see it cripple the game, but it was slightly frustrating to feel I had to quit and restart to keep the game’s quality levels maxed out. I bet if I had the full Xbox One game I wouldn’t need to do such a thing.

Same problem, in any resolution…

Please fix this great game!

Same problem here…

System specs are:
I5 3570k
EVGA GTX970 FTW
8GB Corsair Vengeance

Please, fix it soon as possible!
