Well, Forza Horizon/Motorsport are very well-known games here in Brazil. And as every country, it has a very expanded car culture, that seems diverse if compared to other countries.
Fiat/Volkswagen and Chevrolet have some special editions of well-known cars that are almost exclusive to the Brazilian market, and a lot fun to drive. Here’s some:
With the upcoming Fiat/Abarth/Lancia/Alfa Romeo returning, why not include this special edition FIAT/ABARTH PULSE FASTBACK made by Abarth only in Brazil? It has a 1.3L Turbo engine made by Fiat, with a lot of modifications to reach up to 230 km/h and 275nm of torque. It is a beast.
Furthermore, one of the most well-known ‘sports car’ in Brazil in the last 20 years, we have the FIAT MAREA TURBO, powered by a 5 cylinder 2.4 Turbo that reaches up to 182hp. It was a beast, and it still is a beast.
Adding to the ‘sports car’ ideia, we have the RENAULT/DACIA (in Europe, Dacia) SANDERO RS, a track modification made for the enthusiasts. It features a 2.0 L naturally aspirated 150hp output, and it claims to be one of the most fun Renault’s out here in Brazil to drive, set with Fluence GT.
One of the most voted cars on the FH5 pool, The FIAT ONE, or ‘UNO’ or ‘UNO MILLE’ has the heart of every brazilian gearhead. It is weak, of course, but it has set a lot of memes in the past years in the car community. But, as FH5 is a racing game with fast cars, let’s consider the UNO TURBO, a 1.4L turbo with 120hp that was once one of the most fastest vehicles in Brazil.
We have the CHEVROLET/OPEL CALIBRA made with the iconic C20XE engine ported from the European Opel Calibra. While in Europe it has a V6 2.5L engine with 170hp, in Brazil it has a 4 cylinder 2.0 that made 150hp at the time. Of course, let’s focus on the V6 engine from Europe.
A Muscle classic here in Brazil, The CHEVROLET OPALA SS 4.1 is a mix of elegance and brutality. Made as one of the unique muscles exclusives to the Brazilian Market, it is classy and a beast, powered by a 4.1L naturally aspirated engine with 171hp.
Well, Brazil and Volkswagen have a pretty story, of course. The Volkswagen Beetle was and it still is a iconic vehicle out here, and Volkswagen made a more… Family type Beetle. Meet the VOLKSWAGEN BRASÍLIA, a homage to our capital city. It is a Beetle, but with a more classy body. Features a 1.6 L naturally aspirated boxer engine with 65hp.
