Btw everyone, I’ve unfortunately had an issue with my computer’s hard drive which means it isn’t working right now. All posts until further notice will be from my phone, so please bear with me, I’ll do my best to keep up to date!
Almost at our party limit, glad to see the support is still strong!
Just to make you guys aware, this Matsuri will run under a “Full Course” setting, meaning that we will be lapping the entire track (there are two distinct sections you can drift, followed by a no-drift zone, which will be highlighted in-lobby by the coordinators).
Other than that, the same basic guidelines apply. Keep an ear out for instructions from coordinators and try to be mindful of other drivers; if you can avoid a collision, do so. You guys were really switched on last time so I’m confident we won’t have any issues. Have fun!
I’ve got a bit of bad news. I won’t be turning up tonight because my TV has stopped working. But because MatsuriHub is about fun for all, we are not cancelling it. The event will run as normal, just vDrunkn Munky will be in charge. Have fun tonight! I wanna see pics
Guys, i’m really sorry to say this, but we’re going to have to take a rain-check on tonight’s event. Apologies for cancelling on such late notice, but Xbox Live seems to be having some issues (service error says there are problems with Social and Gaming). Me and Kaido can’t even stay in a Party with each other, and i keep getting thrown out of my own lobby due to “losing connection to Xbox Live” even though i’m still clearly online. Even if i was able to invite some people people and get a game running, i foresee a night full of problems and it’s just not worth the hassle. I don’t want these events to be remembered for constant disconnects, lag slapping and having to restart over and over. Instead, we’ll just reschedule for a day where everything is working and hopefully JJ’s able to play too.
Thanks everybody for signing up, and keep your eyes out for the update with a new date. Again, very sorry for having to cancel. I hope it hasn’t caused too much inconvenience.
I do also have to apologise, as my TV broke. As you can guess, no TV = no drifting. I couldn’t have called out a technician or found a replacement because at the time I was at the Apple Store fixing my broken laptop, which is crucial to my studies and my freelance work.
It’s a real shame because I was looking forward to it, so here’s what we’re gonna do. We’re going to keep this thread open, reset the date, and keep the sign ups we already have (limited to 16, for comms reasons) and we’ll get back to you all as soon as we have a solution.
