Marussia B3 2010
This car unfortunately met it’s demise before it even started production due to the company’s financial troubles. The project used a mono volume silhouette design structure to separate it from the B1 and B2 as the company believed that the design language must drastically change between models in order to give each project a sense of character. The design for the first time in the company’s history would’ve allowed for different engine types depending on trim level due to the sheer amount of space in the rear engine compartment. The car was split into three main surfaces aerodynamically that streamed airflow around the main construction of the monocoque. The spaces in between each surface were used to cool brakes and radiators. Underneath the car there was even an internal aerodynamic body developed to not only allow for non active aerodynamic downforce but allow to guide panels in place without risking large gaps. Shame the fate it met.
