Hell no, what a silly suggestion.
I’d love for Forza to go the GAS route. It makes sense to support an ever-expanding title where the fundamental game stays the same, instead of starting over every two years. I say Turn 10 should do it!
The problem with that is executing on it, and beyond that, executing on it without giving in to predatory impulses or getting a wild hair up the bum and thinking that your racing game is now a first-person shooter. It’s a noble concept, but there are only two games in recent memory I know of that have effectively followed through on that - GTA Online and Rainbow Six: Siege, and both of those games are far from flawless in their execution, whether it be time-gated content that rarely, if ever, returns to the game beyond initial release or excessive and brutal grind mechanics that demand players invest countless hours of time for little reward. Frankly, if you want to see what Forza would look like as a Games-as-a-Service, look no further than Horizon’s last few entries and how utterly loathsome large parts of it are, like the design choices, the Festival Playlist, and its’ gated content.

They shouldn’t make this free to play. They should make it pay to play and by pay to play I mean pay us to play.
