Mad Max is another classic that most car enthusiasts will have seen. It’s quite unique because instead of shiny new cars, here they use old beaten up rat style vehicles. It’s one of my favourite movies and car styles!
In Forza there are a few references to these movies. Most notably we have the outfit of Max Rockatansky in Mad Max 2, the blower in the 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT and there is a story where you shoot a scene set in the desert. Some other cars were featured in the movies as well like the Holden HQ Sandman Panelvan.
It would be more than awesome to have some official Mad Max cars in the game. The Pursuit Special (best known as the V8 Interceptor) is an absolute must. Luckily the franchise has many many cars to choose from (Gigahorse!!).
I think Mad Max suits FH5 pretty well because of the map that consists mostly of desert and open land. The desert is fairly large too.
With Fury Road being a successful and popular movie and a new one on the way (Furiosa set for 2024) I think this could be an interesting partnership! The players could drive one of the most iconic movie cars themselves and perhaps it could be an opportunity to add some rat style customization to the game as well so we can all ride shiny and chrome!
