Lusail (or Losail) started hosting the Qatar Grand Prix in 2021 and was added to the FIA WEC schedule for 2024.
The track has been updated to now also include a club circuit with it’s own pitlane and a short layout of the GP circuit which can be used at the same time.
Also, for commercial reasons, the circuit is marketed as the Lusail International Circuit, in recognition of the new major city of Lusail which has been constructed on the outskirts of the circuit as part of the preparations to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Its original English-language name was Losail International Circuit.
With the WEC Starting with Qatar this year, I am very excited to see how these cars will do on this track and just by looking at how the pit lane looks I would like to see this track as well as other WEC tracks and cars come into Forza Motorsport.
Here’s the full race for this years 1812km of Qatar for the WEC. Lusail International is definitely suitable to be part of Forza Motorsport
