Hey guys, i don’t know if someone have the same problem with low bandwidth, if you do, you know is impossible to play ranked or even online adventure.
Anyone knows how to fix or is a server problem after the monthly update?
So even at 170 kph in a race “low bandwith” and stops me.
How is that even POSSIBLE my Hardware is way over the min. and even Optimal components. PC HARDWARE INFO
I mean, its not the most expensive PC ever, but its strong enough for every game at ULTRA Settings, in FH4 my CPU is at MAX 30%!
GPU max 70%.
I mean, [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. 144FPS at least with no problems.
And its not even lagging, just the textures in the distance have problems to load or something.
FH4 is installed on my SSD.
But i had a HDD in my old pc with a 3GB VRAM 1060 and a i5 6600.
I NEVER had the Low streaming problem with my old pc…
Is that more likely to be a bug?
I had my Game on a HDD, now on my SSD.
All drivers are Up to date…i dont know anymore.
I tried ALL presets in FH4
Ultra > Low.
Still the problem…
Is it installed on the same SSD that Windows is installed on? When I had them on the same drive myself, I found loading was slower and the drive was hitting 100% usage in task manager sometimes during the game. When I put the game on another SSD the problems went away and the game never hit anywhere near 100% again.
I used the manufacturer’s benchmark software on the previous drive and it was performing properly, but Windows and Forza on the same drive just didn’t play well together.
I actually missed that the OP had fixed it when I replied earlier or I wouldn’t have posted, dunno how I missed that… lol.
No it was definitely the culprit in my case. It was happening for months and Windows wasn’t doing anything else, that was the first thing I checked. It wasn’t because I was low on ram and it was swapping to the same drive, either. But the OP has fixed it so my post is moot. I daresay there are others who are experiencing what I did though, and just put it down - as I did - to the game being slow to load, rather than it being better to install on a separate drive.
Hi so i am using a gaming laptop bought earlier this year.
Asus ROG Zephryus Intel I7, nvidia RTX 2070ti graphics card, 16 gig RAM, 1TB SSD hard drive, 240Hz monitor, and i was doing goliath race 3 laps in winter, and i got low band with error message a few times and the game would stop, and textures were not loading in and game would stop, a i would stop and run in to me etc, and i even lost the race right at the end becasue of the error message and the Lamborghini won and i came second even though i had the quickest overall finishing time (UMMM!!!).
Anything i can do, i also contacted where i bought my laptop from too, this laptop was over $3000 so frustrated right now too, all drivers up to date as well.
Had to stop myself from throwing the damn thing GRRRR
thank you
I also use auto detect during game and says to ultra settings and i have laptop running in game mode too via asus dashboard.
If on PC, refer to your manufacturer’s site for Known Issues
Refer to the pinned Support post instructions to read existing threads, search Support for keywords, and if you still can’t find a related topic use the link at the bottom of each article to Submit a Ticket for the developers to investigate.
Hi there , has anyone found a solid and confirmed working solution for the Low Streaming Bandwidth warning ? Ever since i started playing this game every now and then i get that warning which freezes the car in place , i don’t know why this is happening as the game is installed on a ssd drive and during those freezes the ssd usage , cpu usage and ethernet appear to be maxed out ,this is what Task Manager shows Task Manager . Is FH4 streaming it’s textures from a server ? It kinda of looks like that , it appears that every time a certain area of the map is about to be rendered the textures are being downloaded and cached or something, however if there was a cache these problems would not repeat . Please do post your solutions here i know there are similar posts on this forum but they are closed and could not have replied . Thank you !

Similar thing happened to me.
I have FH4 installed on 3 TB HDD and I got that freeze and warning, when one of other games, also installed on that drive was running an update in background and was using HDD rather extensively.
Maybe something similar was going there for you. Next time, check which app is causing that high usage.
Also more of a speculation here, but seen with few youtubers I follow, might be some weird SSD problem, where the thing just can’t get any data trough (turned out to be an SSD on its way out).
The app is ForzaHorizon4.exe I tried youtube nothing helped , setting the priority of the process nope, affinity nope, lowered settings nope, drivers nope , nothing seems to fix the issue
Two things I would try here, uninstall and reinstall on same, or other drive.
Problem here is only your dl speed and if you have any limits.
And why I suggest this, a week ago my FH4 on desktop suddenly took 10 min to load in game and had freezes for 15 or more sec in game (everything was also fine in task manager, no high usage, nothing).
Did try reset of the game, still nothing, except redownload of my saves, but didn’t fix the problem. Uninstall and reinstall fixed it.
Here I would be very grateful to MS, if there would be an easy way to copy store apps from one PC to another, as I have a copy of FH4 also on my laptop and that one still runs just fine. I could just copy it from there, not spend 20 hours redownloading the whole thing
Edit
Forgot to mention, that none of my other games on that or other drives had any problems running as they should and it was all fine on Saturday, but Sunday was fatal for FH4.
Maybe it was meant to be, as I finally started playing The Outer Worlds then
If all else fails, I suggest trying older drivers (nvidia has previous versions on their site).
The ones I’m using are 436.48 with no problems in Forza. I don’t upgrade them very often because if they work then there’s no need to. And nvidia have been breaking things a little too often in recent times.
