Lost 800k from an auction. Sold an f1 for 5mill aand got shorted

So I sold an g1 for 5 million, had 200k or so before. After I collect credits it says 4.5 million. What the heck? I’m pretty mad considering I’ve spent well over a hundred dollars on this game. I noticed a few others on here had the same issue today.

Any help? Am I just screwed?

Auction house keeps a commission.

It’s not an issue…that’s the way it works
You aren’t screwed…it applies to everyone
It’s the way the auction house works
It takes a commission
Usually between 10 and 15 % on every sale
If you have someone else’s livery and tune it will take more

You noticed others had the same issue but never read the replies I’m guessing

What’s the commission for though? They are virtual credits that have no use outside of FH3. Not like an actual auction house that takes a cut because you used them to sell the vehicle. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

There’s a lot of money in the game. Gotta take a little of it out some way…

So its a virtual commission, then. And actually, you DID use the auction house to sell your vehicle, so the auction house is getting their cut.

Your other option is to just remove the car from your garage, but then you would loose 100% of any possible value.

Just one more way the game is imitating real life.

Its the only way the game is imitating real life

Well that’s pretty stupid. Sorry for asking a repeated question. Must of never noticed it before.

AnD 800k? Why is it so much? I mean that’s like 15 percent. ID love to get 15 percent commission in real life lol

And I’d love it if I had a dollar for every post referring to auction house commission, Goliath rewind issue and long Goliath race crashing, I’d be a rich man… lol

Become a real estate agent

It averages between 10 and 15 and can be higher if you sell with someone elses livery or tune
Seems to be higher on higher priced cars

800k of ingame credits isnt that much really in the overall scheme of things

It was 700k and about 14% anyway
