Local Xbox Gaming is looking for some new racers to join our V8 Supercars Championship on Forza Motorsport 6. This series has been running since 2013 and is looking for new entries to top up the grid heading into next season. Our current field currently includes four of the qualifiers for the 2017 Harvey Norman Supercars Challenge that took place at the SuperCheap Auto Bathurst 1000, but we allow anyone so long as they can follow the basic rules and run at a decent pace.
Our championship is designed to allow everyone to compete with people around their own speed, which is why we have classes within the outright race so everyone has someone to fight against. The fastest in the field race in the “Pro” class, the mid-field race in “Pro-Am” while the rear of the field race for the “Am” class. Each class is competitive on its own level, but everyone is still eligible for an outright result as well.
We have four rounds left in our 2017 season for those that are keen to try out the series, and players are welcome to enter as a wildcard to see if they want to commit to it or not full-time. We race at 6pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time on Sundays when the real Supercars are not racing.
