I’ve tried numerous peoples’ wheel settings and can’t seem to find one that doesn’t make the 920 an oversteering mess in medium-high speed corners. With little Input, the back end just wants to come around all over the place. It’s completely aggravating and similar to issues I had in FM6. If you’re off throttle and just coming into a corner the oversteer is maddening. The only fix seems to be putting Stability control on but that makes it feel less realistic and jerky. Does anyone have a fix that might make it a little more manageable? I’m running 900 wheel angle and Normal steering. I’m tired of every car feeling like it’s on ice!
Hey man this has helped me out alot! Wondering if you’ve updated it since this post let me know. Thanks for the help!
Just started playing Forza 7 on my One and OneS. Have a G920 with the shifter. Was really looking forward to playing the game…and i’m experiencing all of these issues, wheel goes limp in a race, cuts out, flashing Center white light etc. Tried the unplug and replug, tried the three button reset, didn’t work for me. Did the firmware update on my wheel…didn’t solve anything.
Unreal.
You have to uninstall the driver.
I had this issue in where in the middle of the race Force Feedback would just drop.
Hopefully, the mods don’t delete this link since its actually HELPFUL - > https://community.logite…feed/0D5310000510VuzCAE (under top rated comments, push the show more button, and look for the driver cleaner.
if they do delete, basically search for logitech driver cleaner.
Unplug your wheel, delete the logitech software thing, run the cleaner.
Reinstall. It worked for me
While this post is about the G27, it works for my G920… for some reason Forza 7 hates the wheel and somehow corrupts the driver, delete everything about the wheel and reinstall.

1 last thing, wheel tend to auto go full [Mod Edit - D] and turn full right 900 degree
Sounds like your wheel isn’t calibrating properly. Does it go through the calibration spins correctly when you plug in the wheel? Also, if you use 900 DOR on this wheel it will at least to me, feel very loose. I use something around 650 degrees. If you’re settings still aren’t working I can repost mine. I’m not at the console so I cannot recall them all offhand.
-k
Yes it dose do that, it only happens when i launch f7 and you move the wheel to the right it just goes all the way and stays stuck there.

EmuWheel will be you friend for PC if on Xbox well that is trial and error.
One setting which is ofter overlooked in these kinds of threads is that you can boost tire volume from Options → Audio → Tire Volume and setting it MAX.
This way you can hear understeer more clearly. But yes, this thread has good settings for G920.
wheel dosent work i tried any option there is on the net, do yo uthink its from microsoft side ?
It’s known Godwing, once you boot the console the wheel automatically moves on its edges to get calibrated, you have to manually calibrate pedals.
Dont waste your cash g920 is not comparable atm you will have lots of issues like ffb not working and wheel turning on its own t othe right
ps im pc
I also tried to find a f7 profile on logitec app but no luck
On Xbox works perfectly
I’ve just started using this wheel on Xbox - finding it quite frustrating to be honest.
I’m around 5-6 seconds a lap slower with the wheel than I am with controller. With the controller I can often set times in the top 1% depending on track/ class - so I’m not bad at the game. How long did it take some of you guys to adjust to driving with your wheels & are you able to come close to your controller times?
With the controller you get a lot of feedback under braking and acceleration - you don’t seem to have that with this wheel or at least I’ve yet to find the sweet spot in the settings which let’s me feel that.
Well it takes time, i can’t say how long because it’s subjective… Depends on the effort you put in it but once you can drive you’ll forget the controller.
Thanks - I’m going to keep chipping away at it. Just a little frustrating to be so far off the pace.
Used it on Horizon a bit and it can be fun as I don’t really worry about times on there - just coming back to FM7 and trying to run a HLC or rivals challenge, that’s a different story
