Bigger Turbo More Power. Slower car. I can upgrade my turbo to have about 100 more HP and have more Torque. But its slows me down in acceleration terms and so does about every part in the engine. So basically any upgrdade in the engine slows me down even if it adds more power.

Power at the flywheel is useless if you cannot transfer it to the ground.

You need to consider the entire drive line from fly wheel to tyre.

That’s why supercharger is king more often than not. Supercharger has better low end acceleration and it’s ok top end wise, turbo is ok low end acceleration and awesome top end wise. You can still make a car fast either way but jamming a whole bunch of power in a car without considering handling or transmission upgrades is a recipe for disaster.

Too much power result in burnouts. So if you go all out on the upgrades. You might want to consider using AWD aswell. and wider tyres in front too.
