Lexus IS 1998-2005 (Toyota Altezza)

100% This car would be sick in both games. As other people have said the variety of builds you could make would be awesome.

Yes I would love this car in forza games I drive an 02 is300 (manual) and I would love to mod it in game and take it out for a joy ride or drift it. Plus it’s got a 2jz . Granted it’s the less powerful GE and not the 2jz everyone talks about the GTE but with a few mods the engine can be the same. Over all this would be a fantastic car to add back to the series.

We need dark chrome head/taillights (OEM) if we ever get this car. The car comes with chrome or dark chrome lights depending on the color I don’t know how exactly this could be licensed or implemented in game but if it could be done through front and rear bumper customization.

The first gen Lexus IS 300 is originally from Toyota Altezza, which begin to sell at japan in 1998. Altezza is a compact sports sedan that has lots of potential for upgrade or mod customization. Definitely is one of the JDM icons, would be cool if they add Toyota Altezza/ Lexus IS 300 to the current Forza Horizon 5 or future Forza motorsport!

This is a car that alot of people wish to be brought back from the good old days of motosport 3-4, its an iconic Japanese sedan that was and still is a great car in the tunning culture for its engine( The all known 2JZ) its a drifters ,dragrraces and track racers, sleeper builders dream car.

if anyone agrees please vote!

Good idea, altezza/Lexus IS 300 had huge poetinial to swap differen engine, like 2jz/3S-GE/ 1UZ… etc. But maybe we shouldn’t expect more? We should feel lucky enough if they are willing to add this car to the game  Here is the 3S-GE you want.

Yo folk if you like this car and want it to add to FH 5 or forza motorsport, please also vote for Toyota Altezza. Toyota Altrzza and Lexus IS (XE10) basically are the same car but equip different engine.
Quick link : Toyota Altezza 1998-2005 (Lexus IS). Currently we had more than 400 votes on Altezza already, let’s get those votes up and probably we could see this car could back in FH 5 or Forza motorsport!

Yeah that’s one way to doing it. If you folk prefer Lexus IS 300 rather than Altezza, you can convert the altezza to the way you want. Whther swap engine or change it appreance would work perfectly. Here is some sample modification for suggestion if we do have this car in the game

Considering that this car made its debut in the original Forza Motorsport and the wonky model was carried over up to Motorsport 4, I think it deserves a fresh scan for any of its future appearances

Please add the limited TOM’S 280T edition… We need ALL TOM’S limited editions!

It was in Gran Turismo 2:

This 280T model is a “complete car” attempted by Tom’s based on the Toyota FR sedan Altezza. It dispels various dissatisfactions with the normal Altezza, and enhances its sportiness. Exterior changes include a front grille change, and a somewhat conservative but very impressive front tin spoiler, side skirt, rear wing, and rear under spoiler. Underneath are 18-inch Tom’s Chrono. The engine is a 2.0 litre 3S-GE, the same as the Altezza RS200. But on the 280T, this unit has an IHI turbo charger and intercooler installed. With a boost of 0,6 kg/cm³, the maximum output/maximum torque has been improved from the normal 210 ps/22.0 kgm to an impressive 280 ps/30.0 kgm. The two available transmissions to combine with this are a 6-speed MT or 5-speed AT, as with the normal model. The chassis options include strengthening rods and braces for suspension members, and performance rods for the upper and lower rear. With a Tom’s original add-box added as a suspension kit, the chassis has attained a different level with a clear sense of strength. It is this combination of an engine and chassis that opens a world of highly sporty driving, a touch above the normal.

Oh, so the topic was merged.
You should bring in both versions of the car, with the IS 300 having the beloved 2JZ as standard, a 2UR-GSE V8 from the RC-F Track Edition engine swap option and with fresh body kits available, next to the Altezza with a racing 3UZ-FE V8 engine swap option and a race themed widebody.

i woul like in game only RS200 modification.
PPG and Turn 10 have already converted many Japanese cars into cars for America, as for example Integra type-R became Acura RSX, it is better to leave Japanese cars alone and add only the correct Japanese cars.
Why RS200? it has the 3S-GE and the best suspension of any ALTEZZA mod, and swapping the engine for the 2JZ-GE will give you an IS300 mod or a 1UZ-FE swap in the IS430 or whatever it was called. I have never seen the first generation Lexus IS, I am from Asia, we have ALTEZZA

or best moment, add IS300 1 gen USA version on miles on speedometer and Asia japan RS200 on kilometers, like to in FM1-FM4 it’s normal, we in FH5 have BRZ and GT86 in one game. We can’t have IS300 and ALTEZZA in one game?
