1998 Altezza perfectly fit the timeline, the model in Forza motosport 4 is 2004 but I think with the modification on the car model, change it from 2004 to 1998 won’t be an issue at all. Lexus Is 300 is 2001 to 2005 model so we would more likely to get Altezza in next update if they add it.

Oh, the Altezza was also in Forza as the 2004 model, well we should get those specific models that were in Forza, the 2003 IS and 2004 Altezza. Doesn’t matter is a 1990 update anything can happen.
True, maybe they will add that MC20 in next update since lots of folks want that car to be there. Consider FH5 still had 1 years cycle so I hope they will add Altezza in the end of it.

MC20 is a 2020s car. Next update is about 1990s car culture, so Modern cars will not be part of that theme.

I don’t really care which they add, just want any model was in old Forzas.
We seen so may time where they add lots of boring EV on those update which doesn’t fit the theme at all. I hope they can stop doing it and actually put those car which fit the theme. Recently they had add lots of jdm car and stop recycle those old car on previous update, I’m glad to see they are listening the community feedback. 1 years ago this game had lots of boring update with tons of EV or some 1950/60s ancient cars

I know, but the 100% new cars they added are still Festival Playlist rewards. I wish Backstage will return to FH5 soon so I can get some of them reward cars I missed out. FOMO tactics still remain.

Would really be cool if the Altezza/Lexus IS would be in the 90s playlist. We don’t know what PG has planned for the playlist, but would love to see the RS200 with the 3SGE, but any variant would be really nice as it’s one of the most requested cars on the forum.
for the question regarding engines… if we get a swap of the 4 cylinder, I’ll be fine with them including the 6 Cylinder as default

It was designed and engineered in the 90s (by the same man who made the AE86 btw) and it was released in Japan in 1998.
I think it would be great to see the rare Toms 280T with a tuned and turbocharged 3S-GE engine (not a swapped 3S-GTE I think, but a turbo’d last gen BEAMS 3S-GE that is in the RS200), or even just the bodykit would be a great addition:
I think one variant is realistic. I really hope for the RS200 to be the “base” car (but that’s personal preference, as I like it more than the AS300 or AS200). Either way, the others will be engine swaps I guess. Also, I don’t think it’s hard for PG to add the Altezza. It was already in FM4, maybe they’ll take the same model and remaster it, and both the 3S-GE (well, the 3S-GTE is in game actually, so the turbocharged version) and the 2JZ-GE (also just the GTE in game) are already there.
