LETS HAVE SOME FUN !! Since Turn 10 is apparently done with providing interesting/challenging Rivals Challenges - HotRod King 87 came up with and idea and asked me if I would like to co-sponsor KING OF THE TRACK challenge. We both think this a great, fun way to keep our Forza 4 community going and a way to provide new forum members a way to earn some in-game credits. Anyone who is still involved in Forza 4 is encouraged and asked to participate. Here’s how its gonna work…
DETAILS
Monthly, a certain track will be chosen - 2 “rivaling” makes will provide 2 cars in which to choose from - run both; see which you can get the most out of.
The “King” will provide an initial time in which to beat - players will then have 3 weeks to beat this time - The “King” will have the option to beat his first time and post 2 other faster times - each time - his time is updated - players have the option to update their own times to beat new “fast time”.
Contests will run for a 3 week period.
Players must post their times here in this thread AND save their replay in storefront and label “KOTT”
When posting your times on the thread, please state what lap you are referring to.
If updating your time with a new replay, please delete previous replay you posted before.
At the end of the 3 week period, anyone who has beat the most recent fastest time of the “King” will receive 30 million credits and the choice of one of the Limited Edition “KING OF THE TRACK” themed cars created each month.
The fastest time of the month overall will receive 70 million credits, one of the “KOTT” themed cars and one of any of the prize cars provided by both our clubs, Stacked Hand Kustoms or BIGTIME MUSCLE - The new KING OF THE TRACK will then have the option to return for the next month and post their time as the time to beat - if they defend their title and have the best time at the end of the month - they will receive a 100 million credit bonus.
RULES
Players must post their times here in the forum AND must save/provide replay in storefront - labeled KOTT - FORUM RIVALS
2 cars will be provided in which to choose from - NO HORSEPOWER UPGRADES ARE ALLOWED - Cars must run factory horsepower specs - NO CONVERSIONS ALLOWED - no engine swaps - no aspiration conversions - no drivetrain conversions - CAN NOT USE ANYTHING IN ENGINE CATEGORY OF UPGRADES.
Any other upgrades are allowed
Telemetry specs will be checked on provided/saved replays - GOES WITHOUT SAYING - ALL CONSIDERED LAP TIME TIMES MUST BE CLEAN LAPS - NO DIRTY LAP TIMES ALLOWED.
Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified from current challenge and the next months challenge.
Players may post as many times as they wish - as long as improved times are posted and replays are saved

For our first challenge we have decided on some old school rivaling models - 69 CAMARO vs 70 MUSTANG

This months “KING” is HotRod King, himself who has run an initial posted time of 1:46.5
