Keyboard Behaviour

I am using a Keyboard in Forza Horizon 4. But i noticed sometimes it works better, sometimes not.
When i am in the Cockpit view i can see the control wheel and when I steer, the steering wheel reacts different. Sometimes it reacts very smooth and I can control the car very good. But sometimes the Behaviuor switches and the Steering wheel reacts very rapidly. So if i press to the right, die Steering Wheel goes directly in the full right postion. Then the behaviour of the car is completly different and I am not able anymore to get good result in races because i have to slow down in curves a lot more, otherwise i get out of track,.
This switch to this behaviour is sometimes there when i start the game, somtimes i am able to play many hours without any problems and sometimes it switches after a few minutes during a Race.
What can I do, is there any setting for this or how can I fix it, that it doesnt change and the steering remains smooth?

Anyone who can help me? Forza support doesn’t realy help me

I’ve noticed the same, but have assumed it was merely the animation from the wheel juddering as the car was going over rougher parts of the road.

My feeling is that in cockpit view I naturally take corners more slowly and cautiously because of the reduced perspective. I did the Colossus a lot the winter before last, alternating between cockpit and 3rd person views. I was always slower in the former than in the latter, not because the physics of the game were doing anything different, but because the different view was affecting my perceptions.

If you do the same race, but once in cockpit view and once in 3rd person under ideal circumstances (i.e., the wheel animation is smooth), are your times about equal? It might be worth comparing cornering speeds in the two views as well.

As I said, I don’t think the game’s misbehaving, although I’ll claim no expertise in this matter.

And like you, I play with a keyboard.
